One good burger - Edit
The one vegan burger and the potato fries are quite tasty. If you leave out the jalapeños, it is not that spicy.

They have one veggie and one vegan burger. The vegan burger was very tasty and very large. I got sweet potato fries with it and they were rocking good. Thr service was fast and great. Our waiter was so personable. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. I'll go back.

Not really a vegan place, but good for your burger fix - Edit
Next to the 99 meat burgers, there is a single vegan burger and also a single vegetarian burger (with halloumi). The vegan burger was good, the potato wedges that I ordered with it, were really great. Do not expect much more than this in terms of options though, as the truly vegan options are pretty much limited to the above (and some more potato snacks). However, given the limited amount of alternatives nearby, definitely worth a visit.

In Garmisch there are not so many options to eat vegan. But here you can find a really tasty vegan burger, which is very satisfying. The sweet potato fries are a must, I had Guacamole and the BBQ sauce as dip.

... but that seems to be a GAP thing in general. You would think there'd be more options in a town as touristy as Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but it seems like everyone's happy with Schweinshaxe. And that's just what happened: my company went for Schweinshaxe at a more traditional restaurant, I didn't feel like having just a salad and sought out another place for dinner. I ended up at Shaka's, had the one vegan burger on the menu plus sweet potato fries and was honestly quite satisfied with it. I didn't even have to wait extraordinarily long, even though the place was packed at the time I was there, so that I had to sit at the bar. Sure, the selection could be better, but as it is, this is one of the few places in GAP that actually has something clearly marked as vegan on the menu. And until that changes this burger joint will get 3 stars, which I probably wouldn't award, if it was anywhere else.

The patty was crunchy and moist at the same time. The vegan cheese was great. The vegetables seemed just right. The bun was tasty and held everything together.
Oh – and perhaps the best part: They serve sweet potato fries. And they’re friggin’ good.
We don’t know if it’s a Covid-19 thing, but we were served ketchup in single packets which isn’t ideal. Also, it was so packed and busy that the waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed.
Anyhow, if you’re in the mood for a vegan burger fix while in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Shaka Burgerhouse just might be your place!

Wir haben fast eine Stunde auf 2 Burger gewartet. Das vegane Patty riecht merkwürdig und schmeckt wie ein mit Maggi überwürzter Gemüsepuffer. Es gibt genau eine vegane Option in der Karte & Pommes.

Claims in big signs “Vegan food“, but has only 1 single vegan option: a burger, that is pretty good at least. We asked for a vegan salad and french fries as side dishes. We got a non-vegan salad with cheese and cream dressing, and the french fries were served with non-vegan mayonnaise. The staff was friendly but “vegan“ seems to be an odd thing for that restaurant. As we asked if they plan to offer more vegan options, the answer was no, because they additionally would have one vegetarian (non-vegan) option on the menu too, (like that must be enough).

Im Shaka gibt es neben den Beilagen (Pommes, Süßkartoffelpommes, Wedges) jeweils einen veganen und vegetarischen Burger.
Read moreIch esse dort regelmäßig den veganen Burger, dem ich 3 von 5 Punkten geben würde. Er kann nicht mit den Burgern von Hans im Glück, etc. mithalten, aber wenn man mit Freunden Abends unterwegs ist und nicht nur Pommes essen will, ist man hier richtig.
Das Ambiente im Shaka ist sehr angenehm und die Bedienung stets freundlich. Hier komme ich gerne mit Freunden hin, um einen entspannten Abend zu haben.

Cozy place. Fast and friendly service. One vegan buger and one vegetarian burger on the menu. Sadly the vegan burger is nothing special and too expensive. But the sweet potato fries are very good and their homemade peach icetee are amasing 👍

It’s really tasty and a laid back environment that is modern and fun. The only real downside is that there is o l’y one vegan burger option, but it happens to be delicious. Sweet potato fries are good too.

Since I was desperate to find something warm to eat after a long hike in Garmisch Patenkirchen (still wearing my sport clothes) on a public holiday there where not many options and I was happy to find this place.

The vegan one has a quinoa patty and is quite spicy. For my taste the bun was too hard and it was too dry because there was very little sauce.
My boyfriend enjoyed the burger.
We had sweet potato fries with the burger, they have been really tasty.
