Fantastic curry! Everything was clearly marked with allergens and whether veggie or vegan on the menu. We ordered onion bhaji, chana puri, bengan bhaji, vegetable karahi, garlic Nan and rice. Everything was really tasty! There was a buffet too with a couple of vegan options which would have been cheaper but we wanted more choice so ordered off the menu. Great option if you’re craving a curry in Valencia!

Shahi est un restaurant de quartier dans lequel je ne me serais jamais arrêtée sans Happy Cow ! Le restaurant propose deux options : un buffet à volonté pour 11,95 euros incluant entrées, plats, dessert et boissons, ou un choix à la carte. Dans le buffet il y avait un large choix d'options végétariennes et véganes (curry, spécialités à base de légumes...). On s'est régalées ! Une des meilleures expériences en cuisine Indienne que j'ai pu connaître, d'autant plus si on considère le prix. Le service était parfait, serveur très serviable et aimable.

A great Indian restaurant that is true to its spicy. Plenty of vegan options and countless vegetarian options. The pakora were a bit too doughy, but still delicious if you piled on the sauce. I ordered muy pikante, since medium pikante never really was very spicy... and DAMN was my food muy pikante. You should also try the Cobra beer from India... unexpectedly tasty! I definitely recommend having a meal here if you are in the area.

Really enjoyed the buffet options that were available. Owner was very accommodating to vegans and told me he always has options, and was very aware what items had butter milk or yogurt. Overall food was really really good. Happy cow only lets me give a 4 star because it’s not a vegan restaurant but i loved everything i had. You can order off a menu or get the buffet, and i even ended up taking some food home from the buffet which i’m having for dinner lol. Owner also speaks english. if you’re looking for indian food this is the place to go

A little hard to find but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful once we were there. Really polite and friendly. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The beers were huge too! Well priced and a nice outdoor seating area under shade. The menu had lots of options, I’d definitely go back. The owner politely asked for an honest review so here it is.

También tienen curry sin picante. La selección es grandísimo - podemos recomendar muchísimo el Stuffed Paratha, el curry Bangan Bhaji y los Okras.

For me it´s a totally five star rating!!! ( as u can´t give it a five as a not only vegetarian/vegan place - you don´t need to sell any meat any more! )

We arrived at 7.45 and realised the restaurant didn’t actually open till 8pm so it would be good if opening hours were clearer online.
Read moreWe ordered onion bhajis, pakora, saag aloo and aloo gobi. The pakora were a bit chewy and the two mains were absolutely drenched in oil but all the flavours were very nice.
All the dishes were very cheap as well so we felt it was pretty good value, and considering the lack of veg-friendly indian restaurants in the area it was a good experience overall.
Pros: Cheap , A fair few veg options
Cons: Mostly non-vegan , So much oil

We found this place on tripadvisor when trying to find something with mixed vegan and omni options &nitbwad a great find. It’s a bit of a distance from the city centre (we got a taxi) but close to the metro also and def worth the trip.
Read moreThe vegan (& veggie) choices on the menu are extensive and very clearly labelled - multiple choices for starters, many curries which can be made with veg so are vegan and a whole dedicated vegan and veggie page on the menu. The local draft beer is vegan also.
It was very good value for money, service was great and the staff all spoke great English (the owner is from Leeds).
They are opening another location in the city also this week which (Maharajah).
Would def recommend. Only 5 star and not 5 because HappyCow will not let me give 5 stars as it serves meat.
