Unrivaled Mexican food - Edit
When it comes to Mexican food, Señor Pico takes the cake in Dubai. They serve amazing flavourful dishes, just mouthwatering. The portions are generous, which I really appreciate. They are certainly not cheap, but on the other hand one gets good quality for the price.

What I don't like: it's a big place and rather impersonal. The staff is very accommodating, but they all seem a bit too eager to create the impression of being employee of the month. I wouldn't call it pushy, but it comes across a bit needy when they ask for a review. However, that's not unique to Señor Pico, it happens in many restaurants in Dubai.
I claim a well-run restaurant with a management that truly cares for their employees would know who works well and who doesn't and wouldn't need to heavily rely on customer's evaluation. But that's nothing but my very personal opinion.

Delicious vegan Mexican food! - Edit
Decent vegan menu and really flavorful food! Most dishes can be made vegan and vegan/veg options are clearly marked on the menu. The portobello tacos and the guacamole were really good! Nice ambience and decent service from staff.

Delicious Mexican Food on the Beach - lots of vegan/vegetarian options - Edit
This was one of our fave meals in Dubai. The food was good, the service was adequate and the ambiance was nice on the beach. We ordered:
Read more1. Taquitos de Papa which was fried rolled corn tortilla filled with potatoes, coriander, Cotija cheese, chipotle aioli, and pickled cabbage
2. Portabello Mushroom Tacos
3. Calabacitas (their specialty tortas) charred zucchini with tomato, bean puree, avocado, guajillo chili sauce.
4. Signature quesadillas - Corn tortillas filled with a cheese blend poblano-chili compote and cheese crust.
For drinks, we had:
1. Sandia Cooler a jalapeño spiked watermelon tequila drink
2. Mexican Iced Coffee with Tequila, cinnamon, espresso and a hint of chili. The drinks weren't very strong but tasted good.
Everything was delicious and well presented.
We would definitely go back!
