Found this place through Happy Cow and was not dissapointed. It is a small cafe with only 3 tables. The menu was only in Russian and the staff spoke no or min English but they tried so hard they managed to find a translation to Eng that was made for their web site (I suspect). In the end I had a very tasty soup of the day and a very proper hummus. I went all out and ordered a chocolate vegan cake and a coffee, both very good as well. If you just stick to food the prices are reasonable for Moscow and you could probably manage to stay within the 500 rub range.
