Good Pizza - Edit
Had a plain slice at vegan playground. Slice was small (I’m used to big NY slices) and $6 is a lot for a slice, but I did really enjoy it.

Best Value @ Vegan Playground - Edit
I like the one with pineapple on it. I know pineapple on a pizza is a contentious issue, but anyone with a problem with it can argue with me while I stuff my face with it.

Best vegan pizza - Edit
This place probably has the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. I don’t like vegan pizza most of the time. It’s just not good, the cheese doesn’t melt and the toppings are weird, but this place does it right. I live in LA but will happily travel to orange county to get this pizza and I will also always get a slice if I see them at a vegan food festival. I don’t know what’s in these pizzas but it’s so good! I think about it a lot. The garlic bread is also very good.

Vegan pizza at 4th street Marketplace - Edit
We had a mushroom slice and a cheese slice. They cut them in half so we could share them. My favorite of the two was the mushroom. The cheese was just average. We wanted pepperoni but they were out. Service is really good. I'll probably come back when the next Vegan fest is in town.

I realllyyyy don’t like it 🥺 - Edit
I’m sorry to say this, I hate leaving negative reviews, but I think it’s bad. It’s very very greasy and super salty so afterwards you feel really heavy and sick. I’ve tried the cheese pizza, the white sauce pizza, and the cheesy bread but all three times they’ve been the same. I’m sorry!

Salty but decent - Edit
I ordered some vegan pepperoni pizza through their website and it was ready 30 minutes later. The cashew cheese was tasty, the bread was good, the vegan pepperonis were slightly spicy. The pizza was too salty unfortunately.

Tasty, hot, crunchy pizza - Edit
The pizza was delicious, but $8.20 for a slice I finished in 4 bites was a little much.

Great Pizza Excellet Service - Edit
Soft opening confirm hours.
Read moreBirthday month continues with an afternoon shopping and snacking and walking around Santa Ana. So of course the 4th Street market is a destination that cannot be missed. i had heard of this new pizza place and knew I had to try it. I was a little shocked to see that it was in the same location that had previously been Naughty Panda, but don't worry NP is now sharing the same location as Munchies.
I was greeted and as I was deciding what to get a fresh pizza to be sold by the slice was coming out of the oven so basically my choice was made. Bacon and pineapple was perfect and pineapple does belong on pizza as does vegan bacon.
The pizza was really good and the cheese was excellent. everything is made in house and you could taste the quality. We were given complimentary orders of parm and ranch, both were excellent. The manager Alexander was great and made me want to come back soon. For drinks they have artisan soda like grape, root beer and cherry. I went went to recess and ordered an IPA go go with.
Pros: Made from scratch, Small Business, Great market with several options
Cons: Salad would be a great offering.
