Beautiful food, amazing accommodations

At the Clico Boutique Hotel, this restaurant shined. The menu is thoughtful, unique and the food delicious. We had notified the restaurant ahead of time of our dietary needs. Gluten free for me and additionally no diary or meat for both my husband and I. We are not easy but the staff was amazing in offering suggestions, ways they could accommodate different menu items and there was confidence in every answer and guidance. And the wine options were fantastic as well.

And as mentioned, the food was delicious. We both had their “hug in a bowl” mushroom miso broth with tofu. Deep flavor, warm and filling. I tried the Bara Newari which was already gluten free but they adjusted to remove the cheese and added hummus instead. I hadn’t been able to try this yet - lentil pancakes essentially- delicious! My husband had the mushroom truffle risotto which they made with vegetable broth rather than any cream or butter to make it vegan for him. It was also gluten free so I enjoyed a bite as well. We couldn’t have had a nicer meal.
