Their vegan scones cost $4.65 and the regular cost $3.45.

Everyone who is vegan has come to learn that vegan ingredients are more expensive. You’re not mad at the restaurant, you’re mad at capitalism. Don’t take it out on this local business.

Some vegan ingredients are more expensive, but not all. I've made vegan scones before, and they did not need any specialty vegan ingredients. Even if the ingredients are more expensive, I doubt it justifies a 35% price increase from their regular scones. To me it seems like a vegan upcharge.
