Vegan German cuisine - Edit
I can really recommend this place if you're looking for some German dishes made vegan. One Schnitzel and the starters are even gluten-free. All very tasty!

Ich hatte das vegane Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Schnitzel war zwar lecker aber extrem fettig... Der Kartoffelsalat schmeckte nicht selbstgemacht sondern wie fertig gekauft. Also nichts für gesundheitsbewusste Esser. Bedienung nett aber das ambiente ist auch eher wie in einer grossen, lauten Halle.

Great food, great beer, very German! - Edit
We ordered all of the vegan Tapas and both vegan schnitzel and roulade to share. Staff checked to make sure the potato salad offered was vegan (it wasn't, we had the fried potatoes instead) but it was great to be able to share both types of traditional German fare. Accompanied by a good (vegan) beer we were able to have a very relaxing meal that wasn't just another burger but a real alternative.

Exactly what I was looking for on my visit to Germany! - Edit
One thing I was looking for on my trip to Germany was some authentic veganized German food, and after a long flight and long day walking the sites around Berlin, Schnitzelei checked off all my expectations.
Read moreI had the three vegan tapas, which alone deserve five stars. But the star of the show was the roulade reloaded schnitzel (they have two other vegan schnitzel options). The creamy potatoes, perfectly seasoned green beans, and rolled schnitzel in warm gravy filled my stomach and soul.
If you live in or are visiting Berlin, Schnitzelei is a must.
I would give it five stars if I could 😊

Had the vegan Roulade and (depsite what it looks like) it was absolutely amazing. The mock meat and vegan jus were so full of flavour. I also had the apple strudel for dessert, which is served with vegan vanilla ice cream and it was also incredible.
