Vegan chicken wings - Edit
Vegan chicken wings and tots. Too salty and full of sauces. I prefer simple and genuine food. Interest wings with habanero!

I’ve been getting the buffalo salad 1/2 ranch 1/2 cashew cheese with tomatoes and it’s so satisfying, flavor wise and nutritionally. I’m always on the hunt for vegan protein and I really like their house made seitan.

This is somewhere to go after a late night out. It’s basically the Breaking Bad chicken place, but vegan.

If you’re missing the wings and tots joint of yore, this is for you!
Pros: Let’s you half and half sauces!, Totchos are clever drunk food, Fully vegan

Best Vegan in Boulder - Edit
I shared the Maple Bacon Tatchos and the flavors and textures were perfect. Bacon taste like a jerky but easy to chew. Flavor stacking is a grand slam.. it takes a person with great visual perception, patience, lots of food experimenting with controlled variables, and talent to pull off this new vegan experience.
Read moreThis place is going to be in every ball park in America! Definitely best flavors and chef in Boulder. The Buffalo Wings blew me away; it tasted just actual chicken wings, couldn't tell difference, but without the greasy meat and gross meat chewing. Teriyaki Pineapple was the bomb, and Dijon Dill was good too. Great location. Generous portions. Come with your appetite. So good...

Decent food — cool logo - Edit
Not sure if I would go again. I thought the food was decent but a little too processed for my liking. I really like the logo of this business.

We ate here often when we were in Boulder. The texture of the chicken is great, they have a variety of tasty flavors, and the portions are good sizes! We like the wings, wraps and sandwiches!

Save the Chickens! - Edit
Amazing! I knew before my boyfriend and I got there that I was going to order WAY more food than we could possibly eat because it all sounded so good. It did not disappoint. The buffalo tatchos were fantastic. And the BBQ wrap was equally as amazing. And the portions were HUGE. My meat eating boyfriend gave it 5 stars! If we’re ever back in Boulder we’ll be going back. Maybe twice.

Delicious and Unique Comforts - Edit
What a tasty and delightful treat in Boulder! Just happened to be passing through and stopped by. The wings are very uniquely prepared and flavored ... try as many as you can. The dill wings were my personal favorite. And those "totchos" ... how did they know to combine two of my favorite things?? This was a huge hit, comfort food that really hit the spot, and I wish I'd had more time in Boulder just to come here more. The staff was super friendly, too. ❤ to you, Saucy Cluckers!

Lip-smacking good comfort food - Edit
Saucy Chicken is now brick-n-mortar near Pearl St. The interior is pretty minimalistic and clean. You can choose between wings (in 5 sauces), wraps/salads, and a tater tot plate.
Read moreThe tots includes chickn, lettuce, veggies, and cheese sauce and is by far the best value—filled me up! The owner was kind and allowed me to combine the buffalo and smoky flavor, which helped by adding variety.
Really wish the veggies were fresher, meals a little more nutritious—like an option for the chickn atop steamed cheesy broccoli / roasted Brussels sprouts and garlic sauce instead of the deep fried tots.
Pros: Flavorful
Cons: Not healthy

All-Around Incredible - Edit
From a truly lovely owner to incredibly delicious food, this place has it all!
Read moreI've been a fan of their food since I encountered them at pop-up markets, and finally made it to their new storefront today and all I can say is "Holy Cowless!" I tried their award-winning totchos and was blown away. The food is lovingly crafted, well thought out, and beautifully balanced in terms of flavor.
I spent some time chatting with the owner and she is truly delightful. It's clear this is a labor of love and that a massive amount of care and thought goes into everything she does.
I can't recommend this place enough!
Pros: Amazing Food, Delightful Owner, ALL VEGAN

Saucy Cluckers is all-around amazing. Delicious wings & totchos, with many flavors to choose from. Ruined us for other food, it’s all we can talk about. Our cravings will bring us back again this week, before we head home to MI. And the owner is such a kind person, the world needs more like her.

Yummy food, we've tried several things from the store and food truck. All very tasty, filling, and good value. More vegetables would be appreciated, but what they have now is worth checking out!

Already great, and they’re just getting started - Edit
I was delighted to discover Saucy Cluckers, to sample their very creative food, and to meet the friendly proprietor, Jamie, whose commitment to compassionate action is heartwarming. She clearly cares about her guests, as well as animals and the planet.
Read moreI agree with the earlier reviewers about the food: it’s very inventive and delicious. I have the sense that this is going to be a very popular place as the word gets out.
I was also happy to hear from Jamie about their plans for ecological responsibility. They plan to adopt reusable takeaway containers and reduce the amount of paper and plastic waste for dine-in orders by switching from disposable products to reusable plates and bowls (which are already used for the totchos and salads but not yet for the wings, FYI). Meanwhile, until those solutions come online, consider bringing your own containers for take-out.
Enjoy!

Holy Cluckerfields - Edit
These innovative wings house the sauce and chick'n on the inside, resulting in a delightful, pastry-like treat. OK- past being a purely original take on vegan wings, this concept just works. And even better, there are a variety of sauces beyond the classic buffalo with which you can imbue your clucker basket for maximum mix- and match-ability. Try the Dijon Dill 👌

Unique and flavorful twist on Wings - Edit
What a flavorful and unique twist Saucy brings to wings! I wasn’t quite sure what “the sauce is on the inside” meant until I tried it… and trust me, you’ll love it! Owned by a married couple, I had the good fortune of interacting with them both during my visit and they were delightful. Jamie, the owner, was kind and took her time explaining to me a little of the restaurants history.
