We genuinely appreciate your feedback, and we want to assure you that we will take the necessary steps to prevent the bread from splitting apart again. Normally, we cut each bun about 1cm deep, but it's possible that it got torn when both sides were squeezed before you took a bite. This is definitely an uncommon occurrence, and it's the first time we've come across such a situation. Regardless, we sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience you had at our place. We will work together as a team to improve our product and fastened our service time.
Read moreRegarding our cuisine, we primarily focus on Western food, and we understand that our Indonesian menu options are limited to our pesto fried rice and satay taichan skewer. Behind our food selection, there's a story where we have a social mission to educate the next generation, and since kids these days tend to gravitate towards comfort food or junk food, we decided to incorporate those types of dishes into our menu. Our intention was to show them that vegan food can be just as delicious. However, we understand that we fell short of your expectations in this case.
Moving forward, we will become more creative with our menu by incorporating more locally known dishes into our cuisine. We greatly value your understanding and support. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with us.

I wouldn’t say that’s a one dollar place, rather two $$. I’ve had a sub which was too salty, my partner’s spaghetti arabiatta in which tomatoes didn’t have any flavour at all. There is free drinking water so the waitress fills your glass each time she sees that it’s empty. The place is pretty, staff is nice but the food is average but pricey

Hello wiruja, sorry for your unpleasant experience at our place, the dollar sign wasnt our doing so this is beyond our control, we are currently located in prime Canggu area, so perhaps the algorithm of the dollar sign were comparing us to other restaurant on the surrounding area, we did our best to make our food affordable for everyone and this had always been one of our mission, you surely notice that we didn't have any other extra charges for tax and services and this is one of our commitmen toward our mission at Saucetree.
Read moreAbout our subs and arabiatta pasta, if by any chance you would come back again to our place, do note that you could ask our staff for a replacement when you feel that our food is too salty and we will be happy to adjust them to your taste buds and for the Arrabbiata pasta, it's a mixed blend between tomatoes and grilled red paprika and surely we want the taste of the grilled paprika to popped or else it would be just another neapolitan sauce that usually served with minced a.k.a Bolognese pasta.
With all being said, we do apologize for this misleading information on the dollar sign and the average food, we will work hard to improve our product and services to meet your expectations for future visit.

Probably the best veggie burger - Edit
I had the memo burger and my partner the double cheeseburger. Both of the were amazing!!!! The bun was so soft and the fish did really feel like fish with amazing tartar sauce. Thank got in staying in canggu for 6 more days cause I’m definitely coming back here

A cute restaurant with super nice and attentive personal! The bean dog was as good as promised in the comments, very saucy, and they let me sub the fries with a very delicious salad! Most surprised I was by the match latte, it was perfect in every way🥰

If you want to eat a good vegan burger, this is the place to go. We ordered a Double Chiz Burger, Carbonara Pasta and Cauliwings. The Cauliwings were totally crispy and in combo with the mayo dip the perfect starter. The Carbonara was ok but honestly order a burger here instead, that's more their speciality. The burger was so good. The cheese tasted cheesish and the patty was delicious. It comes with fries which were some of the best fries we had here in Bali.

The selection of burgers here was sick! Fish, chicken, bacon, beef, mushroom, just about anything you can think of! Really enjoyed the sauce tree original burger, the amount of cheese sauce on top of it was sensational! All burgers come with fries included in the price, the service is good too! Highly recommend!

Had the colonel chicken burger, reminded me of a kfc burger (really nice!) With fries and the pulled pork roll (from jackfruit). Both excellent. For dessert had the chocolate brownie and it was divine. They kindly offer free water with cucumber and mint and a sample of chocolate banana cake. The place is cute and comfortable with friendly staff. Bill only 130k. Recommended. Will be back.

Good spot for take-away and watching sunset on the beach which is very near from the restaurant. The starters (taichan, samosa, fish sticks) were very rich in taste, simply amazing. But the main course (cheeze steak, shroomy burger) felt a bit disappointing - the bread and overall taste was too sweet imho and it felt kinda dry while eating, so for me personaly it was missing more sauce as a base on the bread or something. The personal was very nice, it's cute and welcoming place😄

I was very warmly welcomed, this place had very homely vibes. I had the matcha latte and chocolate dessert. Both were great. Most memorable was the great conversation with the couple Victor and Judy who are both genuine, chatty and just down right pleasant. I also got to meet and compliment the chef, Tirta, personally. She has a great attitude. I have a really good feeling about Sauce Tree's future. All the best!
