Serves meat, vegan options available. Women-owned family-run restaurant by a mother-daughter who immigrated to the US from Vietnam in the early 1990's as refugees. Ask for the vegan menu, which may include a "vegetarian cold cut" banh mi, tofu banh mi, and seasoned tofu box. Specify no mayo. The vegetarian cold cuts are a seitan/soy homemade version of the traditional pork banh mi. (Does not offer pork.) Open Mon-Tue 9:00am-3:00pm, Fri-Sun 9:00am-3:00pm. Closed Wed & Thu.

Cheery and delicious

Beautiful spot with very cheery and bright decor. Friendly staff/owners. Very clearly marked vegan menu options with instructions on how to order (no mayo, sub soy sauce). The sandwiches are stuffed and delicious! We ordered the tofu banh mi and the vegetarian cold cuts banh mi. Both were excellent. The vegetarian cold cuts were really interesting (in a good way!) - tasted very much like ham, and the consistency was similar to pressed tofu but I think it was made out of seitan.
I learned they do not serve pork at all as they are Muslim, but they do have other meat on the menu. The vegetarian cold cuts are their version of a traditional pork banh mi.
Other vegan menu options include veg spring rolls, and a seasoned tofu meal box (Choice of rice or vermicelli rice noodles, seasoned tofu, vegetarian spring roll, salad, pickled veggies, soy sauce, scallion oil. *Vermicelli Rice Noodles comes with chopped peanuts*)
There are also specials that appeared to be vegan, but I did not ask (eg. veggie curry). Definitely will be going back again!
