Vegan cupcakes - Edit
We were in Siesta Key for my son’s birthday and wanted to find some vegan cupcakes to celebrate. I love that this bakery had vegan cupcakes available for me to purchase last minute. We had the strawberry filled, classic vanilla and classic chocolate. The cupcakes were pretty good, but they were very expensive. I do appreciate that the had vegan cupcakes on hand that you could purchase if you just walk in and not order ahead of time!

When you order off the menu, a staff member goes in the back and makes your cupcake to order. Trouble is, the cupcake is pulled from a refrigerator, then topped with frosting. How long was that thing in the fridge?! It was very dense and seemed at least a few days old. The flavor was decent. I don’t plan on returning. If I’m going to splurge on sugar and fat, I want it to be stellar…and fresh.
