Gastro style dinning with great vegan options - Edit
I live only a 10 min drive away and visit fairly regularly. They have good vegan options (including dessert), are knowledgeable, friendly and the food is delicious! They usually have at least a couple of vegan options for each course and not your usual borning standard vegan food. The sticky toffee pud is a firm favourite of mine 😍
Read morePros: Welcoming , At least 2 options per course, Cosy and comfortable setting
Cons: Need to drive as its in a small village, Could do with updating a few options regularly

Kills wildlife - Edit
Kills moles in the garden initially with their own badly laid traps and now uses a pest control company. Didnt like being challenged. Very little vegan on menu.

Don't bother going for vegan food - Edit
Just a token vegan menu. 2 starters; a soup or salad. Main; risotto (plant based eating has moved on this risotto!) Or thai veg curry. Dessert; chocolate fudge cake or fruit sorbet
Read moreI had the Thai veg curry - such was watery, tasteless and lacking vegetables. Chocolate fudge cake came in small squares and was okay.
Pros: Polite staff, nice views in restaurant
Cons: Poor quality vegan food.

Wonderful little gem - Edit
We stayed here for a few days in their accommodation rooms - which are absolutely wonderful spaces.
Read moreBreakfast options for us vegans were super simple, plus the staff and kitchen were always really eager to organise anything that we needed - the highlight though was definitely the home made muesli with home made oat milk, which was so moreish.... it was literally the nicest cereal we've ever had - as vegans or before! The fruit platters were also spectacular, so much fruit - and a great variety too..... oh and the toast - all from freshly made bread, could not fault the breakfasts at all - all served in a really cosy wonderful room with a great view out to the fields behind.
In the restaurant they had a vegan menu, plus there were some options on the specials menu, and yet again - the staff were really helpful with things we could have..... plus the kitchen were really accommodating with adjusting other menu options to make them vegan!
Highly recommend this place if you're in the area for food, but definitely recommend this place if you're not and are looking for somewhere to stay!
Pros: beautiful venue, stunning food, great staff
