Abducted and woke up here

Tasty jackfruit burger with a rich BBQ sauce.

Jackfruit burgers all around...because there weren't many other vegan options, wished there were more.

Vegan Burgers & Toasties

Well worth a visit - not a huge range but staff are happy for you to modify what's on the menu when you order. I've asked for a vegan cheese & cranberry toastie a couple of times and they've been happy to do it for me.

Oat milk available for hot drinks.

Must visit again 💚

What a lovely discovery. Delighted to find an array of vegan and veggie options for us, listed on the menu. The vegan breakfasts we chose, were delicious and generous. The oat cappaccino was ace! The lovely young owner chatted to us about her further plant based plans for the future. So lovely to see and hear this in a region which has been notoriously been slower than cities in providing for plant based holiday makers (with a few exceptions) Well done Sand and Stone, very happy to have stumbled across you guys. Also, the toilets were very clean and well equipped too, always a bonus! Thank you✔️🌱 ❤️

Pros: VEGAN OPTIONS listed on menu , Large portion size, Friendly staff

Don’t bother

Turned up at 10:05, five minutes after they supposedly open. Staff were inside, just looked at us and didn’t bother opening the door or acknowledging us. There was a QR code for takeaway food and decided we’d try that. Went through the whole process of selecting the food, choosing a timeslot (10:20) and entering details. Turns out you can’t choose a time slot less than 20 minutes ahead and the next one was for 11am. There is also a £5 minimum order. Really disappointed especially as we came all the way here for breakfast and there is not another place locally who does vegan breakfast.

Pros: Nothing

Delicious burgers

We went there for ice cream and flapjacks twice (g&t or mango sorbet) and had dinner there another day. I had the mushroom burger and my husband had the jackfruit burger, both really delicious. We had both gluten free too.

Pros: Clear vegan labels, Gluten free options
