Best Ramen by far - Edit
This is by far the most Oishi (delicious) Ramen that I have ever consumed.
Read moreThis is where I would I would like to thank HappyCow app. I used this app to find a vegan restaurant at 10:30 PM. It led me to this small Ramen restaurant. I chose the soy Ramen option and my friend chose the Spicy Miso Ramen option.
The Soy Ramen was fantastic. I tried the Miso Ramen from my friend and trust me I had to come back the next day to have the Miso Ramen all by myself.
The restaurant is very small though
Pros: Taste Taste Taste
Cons: A bit expensive

Gluten free ramen - Edit
I got the spicy gluten free vegan ramen with added veggie. Not too spicy tho. I added the cumin/chili powder to mine. Its offered at the table. Personally, i would love to have mushrooms or tofu in my ramen but this was still great. The gluten free noodles taste good.

Had a smoky flavor of the noodles and the broth. The quantity was quite good having ordered extra noodles. Totally loved the corn in the bowl. Ramen is always satisfying to eat.

Hokkaido Style Ramen - Edit
This shop offers a little bit of a different type of ramen although I’m not sure how much that goes for the vegan options. I also noticed that this shop has been added a few times to this app— under somewhat the same names.
Read moreThe prices are fine from what I remember although the non-vegan options are quite a bit cheaper. It’s relatively cheap still and it’s delicious. I’ve been to here quite some times and I was never disappointed.
You choose your own meal outside of the shop (where you also pay) and receive a ticket which you take inside. The machine has an English language option as well.
10/10 would recommend.
Pros: 4 different options , English menu, Delicious

Yummy Ramen - Edit
His restaurant has many vegan ramen options and a traditional Japanese setting. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. They also offer gluten free ramen which is hard to come by! They were advertising an animal rights march so they are obviously conscious of animal welfare.

English below👇
We here at 4AJ take ramen very seriously. We’ve tried many different kinds of vegan ramen and have determined that the most delicious ramen to be found was at Ryu Shanghai, inside the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum.
Not anymore. The title now belongs to Shinbu Sakiya.
This small ramen-ya, located about 10 minutes from Shibuya station, has only been open since September, but they’re already a well-oiled machine serving up not one, but FOUR different kinds of vegan ramen. Miso, spicy miso, salt, and soy sauce.
I got the shio ramen (1250 yen), which was PACKED full of noodles and veggie toppings, served up with a deliciously flavorful broth. The noodles were fantastic, with just the right amount of bite.
The shop is small but nice, with a few small tables and a counter to sit at. Service was fast and friendly. You order from the machine outside, which you can set to English.
I haven’t been able to get this meal out of my head, and I can’t wait to go back. Go here now.

Awesome miso ramen - Edit
Very cosy small place, many locals seem to be coming here as well, which is usually a good sign :)Vegan ramen was delicious! Good price as well for Shibuya. My boyfriend loved his meat curry as well. It is easy to order as they have machine outside with English menu and clearly marked vegan options. They even have gluten free version!

Delicious late-nite vegan & gluten-free ramen in the heart of Shibuya!! - Edit
Absolutely delicious vegan ramen!! We weren’t expecting too much, but this was literally 1 of the best vegan ramens we’ve had in Japan. Absolutely worth a try; vegan spicy miso ramen was especially amazing. Can’t wait to go back!! The outside machine you order from clearly marks out vegan and gluten-free options (brown rice noodles). Open super late too! They’ve been offering vegan options since 2018. Good portions too! Yum...

Really tasty ramen! Appreciated the English menu having options very clearly marked, and having a few varied options. If I’m back in the area for dinner again I’d happily try one of their other options.

Good noodles, easy to order - Edit
The terminal made ordering vegetarian food easy. While only a couple of options, the veggie options were clearly marked. The food was good and serves were large.

Their "vegetarian" options ARE actually "VEGAN"!! - Edit
This is the best ramen I have ever had in my life!!! There are 2 "vegetarian" options which are the "shio" (salt) and "shoyu" (soy sauce) ramen. I spoke to the chef and asked him what was in the "vegetarian" ramens that made them not vegan, but he couldn't seem to answer the question and started asking me questions. So I asked (in fluent Japanese) specifically and went through questions like, any meat or fish derived products like dashi or any kind of broth, or meat/fish "extract" granules or powders? "No". Ok so its definitely vegetarian. Any dairy products or egg products? "No." So no milk, cheese, no butter, no powdered milk, egg, egg yolk, honey? "No". Not even in the noodles? "No". He said that they did used to have some of those products but has been "trying to study about vegetarian/vegan diets and has been taking them out and changing the menu." He was an incredibly modest man that seems to work insane shifts. He is always there and closes in the am hours.

Tasty - Edit
I paid about 1,300 and waited almost 10 minutes. Both were not expected as in regular noodle places, those number are smaller. However, it was worth it as the dish was tasty and satisfying. I’m putting a photo of the exteriors, to help finding the place.

I tried the vegan noodle dish - Edit
I tried the vegan noodle dish, it was huge with lots of stuff in it but didn’t have a lot of flavour, it’s a tomato based broth but weaker then others I had tried but something to eat if you need, if in tokyo i’d recommend the veg option at Soranoiro Nippon at the Tokyo train station instead.

Vegan ramen for under $10 in the heart of Shibuya? Yes please! - Edit
We stumbled upon this place while exiting Shibuya Station (take the Mark City exit and walk for a while). It's just near "A Happy Pancake." You will see the billboard on the street and the ordering terminal outside the entrance (you can change the display language). There are separate tabs for Vegan and Vegetarian options. You can also add on a donation to charity, too. I personally appreciate when businesses make an extra effort like this, and it does not come across as pushy, just a brief moment if mindfulness. Either way, just punch in your order and add-ons, pay (you can use your transit card to pay) and get the tickets that you then give to the server inside. We got the vegan tomato based ramen with extra vegetables.
Read moreOne nice thing about this place is the utensils are all reusable, including the face cloth they give you before your food arrives (although it is in a thin plastic sheath). The ramen arrived about 10mins after we sat down when the place was 2/3 full. When it arrived... Holy cow....TONS of vegetables!! I recommend not paying extra for more vegetables as there are already plenty as-is. One disappointing thing is there was no tofu in it, so it's definitely low on the protein side of things. The flavour was good, just your typical savoury tomato herb kind of base. The noodles were thicker and cooked more al dente. But for under $10 USD for a yummy bowl of vegan ramen, you can't really go wrong. Definitely worth the visit!
Pros: Amazing value, TONS of vegetables, Quick, efficient service
Cons: Not much protein in the meal
