Pumpkin paste, Ikura (red caviar), scrambled eggs, avocado roll, tempura roll, eringi (king oyster) mushroom, meat, myoga (Japanese ginger), shiitake mushroom, kabayaki (tofu). Open Tue 11:00am-4:00pm, Thu-Sat 11:00am-4:00pm. Closed Wed & Sat-Sun. Last order: 3:00 pm.

It was super delicious food. Even though I was the last customer before closing they let me order refill. The food was incredible and the staff are kind. They gave a useful card with other vegan places in tokyo.

Unique Vegan Sushi Experience - Edit
Even if you’re vegan, you can still enjoy traditional Japanese sushi at this unique spot, where vegetables take center stage. Each piece of sushi highlights a single vegan ingredient as the star, beautifully crafted to resemble the original. I paired this memorable lunch with sake and ended it with a fantastic dessert. I truly hope to return one day!

Great little spot up the stairs, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya! We were able to get in without a reservation on a Saturday. We opted for the 10 piece set with the sake flight and can’t recommend it highly enough! The sake was incredible, as was every single sushi piece we had. The tempura topped one was a standout! But the secret star of the set was the vegan ice cream at the end. It was such a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant is so cute with lots of small touches - things like every seat having a unique chopstick rest. They also gave us a little card with a Google maps list of other recommended vegan restaurants in Japan - so helpful!

The sushi was superb, the ice matcha 🍵, the miso soup and the ice cream 🍨. But I also loved the story of the place and the way the owners put their effort just to give us an amazing food and also the empathy they have. I highly recommend it 🫶 You will love it 🐄🌱🐓🐖🐥🐑🌎🌈

I think the owners were right to create a vegan sushi restaurant — there aren’t nearly enough of them! A rare find in Shibuya amongst the ramen establishments.
Read moreEvery sushi is lovingly made and thoughtfully seasoned to bring out the best of the ingredients. Highly recommend getting the full set (alcoholic or not). The Kyushu style cold miso soup, and the ice cream are delicious too!
My only complaint is that they are not open for dinner! Highly recommend booking if you can, as it can get very busy.

Love love loved this place! The staff were lovely, and the sushi was fabulous. I ended up getting some to take out at the end of the meal bc it was just that good. I don’t like mushrooms, but the two sushi items that had mushroom on them were delicious (one ended up being a take out item after the main). Will definitely be back if I can squeeze it in this trip

Honestly the best sushi I have ever had. The eggplant, tempura, and king oyster mushroom sushi were so delectable and melted in your mouth. Must visit if you are ever in Tokyo.

I like how the sushi is preset so I don’t have to decide which to order. My favs were the king oyster mushroom and the vegan meat. I also had miso soup and ginger with mine. Definitely give this place a go if you’re in the shibuya area

Recently opened restaurant. Operated by three commited vegans. When you eat their sushi you notice they put hard work into it to define such different tastes. Presentation was overwhelming. Host was super friendly and helpful. Also the dining room was nicely decorated.

They have only been open a few months (June) but they have a winning recipe for success here; and I wish them all of it. Their sushi sampler plate was spectacular and I will visit again any time I am in Tokyo.

Masterful take on Vegan Sushi - Edit
My wife had been jonesing for vegan sushi while we’re in Japan. We searched for a place and came across Vegan Sushi Tokyo! I’m so glad we did! Everything was delectable! We ordered the 10 piece assortment each and wolfed down every piece. My wife ordered refills and before I could get my camera out to take a photo she had polished them off.
