Un délice - Edit
Nourriture incroyable ! Restaurant familial chaleureux. Nous avons particulièrement adoré la salade aux feuilles de thé et les beignets de pommes de terre. Des spécialités Shan : plus grande minorité ethnique dde Birmanie. Le tout vegan !

Fabulous food and worth the trek out of town - Edit
They do a great selection of veggie and vegan dishes. The aubergine and potato curry is amazing.

Affordable and (vegan) friendly - Edit
Really affordable menu, we had three huge portions and three drinks for 400B. Food was really good and lots of vegetarian options on the menu, most of which were vegan. The hosts were super friendly and knew exactly what vegan was. Comfortable, minimal bugs, would recommend!

Bad food and long wait - Edit
I don't know why this place is so highly rated. We had to wait around 1.5h for food (even for the salad) and when it came it was very disappointing. The potato cakes and spring rolls were dripping oil, and my dish which was tofu with cashew nuts and steamed rice was tasteless and the sauce was more of a weird oily goo (very oily). Would not come back or recommend this place.

Really delicious and beautifully presented - Edit
A more 'upmarket' style restaurant for Thailand with a mixed menu of western, Thai and Shan food.
Read moreWe got the pad Thai and Khao soi as well as the Shan potato cakes. It was all very delicious and nicely presented.
The restaurant is right next to the lake too, which is a nice place to visit at night.
Pros: Bit of a posher restaurant, nice for a change, Lots of options, Nicely presented

Wouldn’t recommend - Edit
We tried vegetable curry and potato cake and we didn’t like it. The curry didn’t taste like curry at all and it was too oily and the cake was only mashed potatoes in bread-crumbs with too sweet sauce.

Highly Recommend for Dinner! - Edit
Only good things to say about this place! The staff knows what vegan is and prepared us delicious currys every night. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and the prices were great because the portions were big! Would highly recommend!
Read moreThey have free wifi. Although they have signs saying not to bring outside food or drink because they will charge you 50baht per item. As well as if you want to charge your devices they will charge you per hour.
Try the Green Curry and the Burmese Salad - AMAZING!
Pros: Great location, Excellent food and portions, Nice vibe
Cons: charges for your own food/drink + charging devices, a few tables, some "floor" style seating

good food, friendly staff - Edit
Lots of vegetarian options, including very cheesy toasted sandwiches, tasty tofu burger, and good chips. Also had a lot of Thai options. The staff were friendly and the service quick. We went twice, and would have happily gone again of time had allowed. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or anything in between.

Best vegetarian dinner place in the area - Edit
Food is extremely tasty and cheap. I recommend the tea-leaf salad. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available and service is fast and attentive. And portions are large. They don't skimp on the fruit in the shakes too. Open all day from 8am to 10pm so could eat every meal here but for breakfast and/or lunch you should eat at Little Good Things vegan cafe. For supper there aren't many good options so Salween is the best. Though the salads at 77 House are good.
