Delicious but not a lot of vegan options - Edit
It was really nice to eat something else than stuffed peppers 😄 but there were only two vegan options. We had the avocado tempura and wakame salad as vegan, and then a vegetarian king roll, mushroom croquettes and broccoli with gorgonzola. So it was a little bit difficult but still delicious. Very good atmosphere and beautiful restaurant as well. It was pricy for Albania but still ok. We payed 62 euro’s, cocktail, water and wine included.

Delicious but no vegan main courses - Edit
The vegan food was clearly marked on the menu, which was very nice. However no vegan main dishes. Three or four appetizers can make a full meal and it’s very delicious, however really expensive for Albania.
Read moreFor posts in the past, I saw a specific vegan part on the menu. That part is gone now.
The atmosphere is very relaxt and high end.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan menu, Good food

Okay - Edit
Absolutely loved the plant-based food that was served. Think it says a lot about a place and how future proof they are when they have multiple vegan options on the menu. Great inititative that has to be mentioned and applauded, well done! Very friendly staff as well. They were really kind to us. Would highly recommend to visit the place when in the city. You won’t be left disappointed, that much is for sure!

We went here for dinner. The place itself is really nice, staff is kind and they have a vegan section on the menu. Went for the zucchini and avocado tartar, delicious! Healthy choices and the taste is just great. Also the food was displayed lovely.

Very nice place with great service, we tried most of the vegan option here and a special mention for the Vegan sushis that were DELICIOUS.
Read moreThe only down is the price which is a bit high, but you pay for the service (a lot of staff, they are very responsive and helpful) and the beautiful and well designed space.
They also have some DJ bookings on weekends, playing mostly deep house.
Pros: Vegan section on the menu!
Cons: Expensive

Caution - Edit
Was really impressed with this place but I'm now concerned after reading others reviews that the things listed as vegan were not actually vegan? We ordered vegetable king roll which came with some mayo - I assumed because of the labelling it was a vegan mayo but not so sure now. Would recommend to double check with the staff.
Read moreThey also brought a complimentary bread and ricotta cheese appetizer which we didn't know they would do so I would recommend telling them ahead of time to skip the cheese or replace with hummus.

Incredibly Good! - Edit
The vegan falafel balls, and Fig Me Hard cocktail are supremely exceptional. I daresay the falafel was the best I've ever had in my entire life. Fresh. Warm. Not dry or greasy, filled with vegetables and spices and perfect in every way.
Read moreThe staff are kind, professional, industrious and accommodating. Many dishes can be customized to be vegan as well without issue.
The ambiance is lovely, clean, modern, with clean lines and a roominess, moody lighting and an overall fantastic vibe and energy.
Pros: VEGAN FALAFEL BALLS = BEST IN THE WORLD, AMAZING COCKTAIL LIST, Vegan section in the menu
Cons: Not everything was vegan, Some things are a bit pricey.

The dinner go-to spot - Edit
I went there with my boyfriend for Valentine's day. We tried the falafels (good, although wouldn't call them falafels, more like chickpea patties) with a dash of hummus (which is really good) and avocado tartare (could use a bit more spices but it is a great thing to eat if you want a refreshing meal). The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning and elegant. Great place for a date or to get a dinner.

I went for lunch to Salt. After reading the comments I was a little bit afraid. I didn’t know if the options were 100% vegan or they would content some kind of diary or eggs. I went there, the service was very nice and they knew the difference between vegetarian and vegan. I had the quinoa plate with avocado and as appetizer they gave me some hummus -since I couldn’t eat the cheese they serve with bread as a

Not sure if what I ate was vegan, but... - Edit
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I have a big troubles eating in Tirana every time I'm there. However after being vegan for 5 years I won't make a big fuss about eating a little bit of "mayo" which was on the sushi roll. The sushi itself was very very tasty and next time I will ask them to not put the "mayo sauce" on it. The spaghetti I'm trying to believe were vegan. Come on, at least they are trying, I'm giving plus points for that. The portions are however quite small, but that's all around Tirana. I believe this place can become a real vegan gem in Albania!

It’s been over a year I’ve been coming to Salt from time to time and they’ve improved a lot! They no longer put the mayo on sushi and they started to put avocado on the rolls and therefore they are now worth the 990 leke. :))
Pros: amazing place, tasty food
Cons: probably not sure what "vegan" really means, small portions

great in the evening - Edit
So we went here in the evening, and for lunch the day after, and it was a completely different story.
Read moreDinner:
Everything was almost full, really nice atmosphere, great service etc.
Lunch:
Mostly empty, waiters confused, brought the non-vegan version of the sushi rolls, said it was vegan (it had mayo on it), overall very bad service and miscommunication, bad english.
But, I would come back, because the vegan dishes were very tasty and the sushi was just great! The avocado tartare, kale salad and sushi rolls were really great. The price is also not too high for us!
Pros: great vegan options, tasty, nice ambient
Cons: some staff not organized or knowledgeable

Perfect for a fancy dinner - Edit
As it was already said in the previous comments, they don’t really know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. I’m pretty sure the dip I got with the bread wasn’t vegan. However, the quinoa tartar was good and the sushi rolls were delicious. It is a quite fancy restaurant, so the portions are quite small and it is more expensive than most restaurants in Tirana but still way cheaper than it would be in a comparable restaurant in Germany. Good start for sure, little improvements needed but great to see more vegan options coming up in Tirana.

A misshapen - Edit
Staff needs more education about vegan vs. vegetarian. The “vegan” part of the menu isn’t vegan. Falafel has eggs, zucchini has dairy and possibly more dishes has non vegan ingredients. We’re just lucky we’re not allergic.
Read moreWith that said; after all the miss communication we got compensated with a free fried mushroom dish and got the other dishes swapped out. This place is really a gem and just needs some finishing touches. The food that IS vegan is brilliant in every kind of way. Go here but be sure to ask specifically for allergens. Sautéed broccoli, mushrooms, quinoa&kale salad, avocado tartare are vegan as I know of.
Now to the atmosphere; we where there at 4 pm and it was totally empty, but can imagine the place having an amazing energy during rush hours. Beautiful areas to sit and chill, and more on the fancy side.
Thank you Jetwiv for your help with making our visit pleasant despite misshapens. You should be promoted 🙏 This place kind of deserves a five star for the service after all.
Pros: Amazing food, Good service
Cons: Some in the staff doesn’t speak English, Miscommunication, Some in the staff lack information about the food
