Creamy, delightfully diverse flavors. Pictured is a seasonal flavor: Sweet Potato Casserole, and beneath is a classic one: Peanut Brittle Caramel Fudge. Both were insanely good.

Best Vegan Ice Cream ever! - Edit
I have a dairy allergy and this place had the best vegan ice cream I have ever had. They had like 20 different flavours and tons of different types of cones and toppings. When I said I had an allergy, the employees used a new scoop and new gloves. The ice cream tastes amazing too.

Nestled near Disneyland and California Adventure, this ice cream shop's vegan options are a delight. Lots of vegan flavours - Edit
Always several vegan flavours plus specials, and at time of visit all the specials were vegan! You can taste samples first and the flavours are really creative. So nice to have a variety not available in shops.

Came here on a trip to Disneyland in 2019. I had the Dandelion Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream ice cream, and it was divine. Nice that they have different vegan options all the time. Some of the best vegan ice cream I have had!

Amazing Vegan Options - Especially in January - Edit
Salt & Straw has become my FAVE vegan ice cream maker!!! This Oregon based company has several shops in So Ca, but the only one I've visited is this Downtown Disney spot. I usually buy the pints, rather than the scoops, as it seems like a better deal to me and there's always several vegan options in the pint freezer to choose from. Since I started going there 2 years ago, I've noticed that they always have the Freckled Mint TCHO-colate Chip and Strawberry & Coconut Water Sherbert in stock and usually my fave -- Dandelion Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream -- though they do sell out of it sometimes.
Read moreJanuary is the GREATEST time to visit because they have a special menu called Vegandulgence Series which features several additional vegan ice cream flavors. This year they had a few oat milk based ice creams, as well as the usual coconut milk based types. I'll post a pic of the menu from 2020. My faves from those I tried were the Peanut Butter Strawberry Crumble and Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream, which I guess didn't use the Dandelion brand chocolate? I dunno. The Bourbon & Caramelized Honeycomb was pretty good, too.
Every month they have a special menu of flavors and there's usually something vegan on there. For instance, this past December they had one called The Great Cookie Swap that had a very festive vibe. Luckily there's was still extra in stock in January, so I was able to get some in scoop format!!!

Super unique flavors (I had an orange blossom sorbet) that are all so good, and the I could eat the cone, as well, which was great! I definitely recommend Salt & Straw.

Vegan ice cream options, tasty - Edit
They had 4 vegan options, 3 from regular menu (one of those was sold out) and a 4th option from the specials menu which I almost missed because it was written off to the side. I had a mint chip ice cream and tasted my son’s Peruvian chocolate sorbet. Both tasty!
