Not many vegan breakfast options

Had arabic bread with jam, a pistachio dessert and violet tea. Falafel seem to contain eggs so I couldn’t order any of the menus. It was tasty and the interior was very stylish but I wish they had more vegan options.

Beautiful scenery and big plates of food

I didn't expect the plates would be so big, so maybe I've ordered a tad too much food😉4 orders for 2 people is a lot ...

Note: on the menu you can find the vegan food by skipping the dishes labeled with milk, eggs etc. But, the bean-dish came with what I think were quail eggs (tini tiny eggs). That wasn't specified on the menu. Nor "regular" eggs for that matter ;-). Also, the falafel isn't vegan, which was clearly labeled, but I just never noticed beïng so used that it's always a safe bet for vegans. Don't really know if it's only the sauce that's not vegan (with yoghurt) or the falafel itself. I didn't ask because, well, we had eaten it all and I just found out later that there was a milklabel on the falafel dish.

So, check and dubble check. Still well worth it! It's all freshly prepared food and very tasty.

Gran sitio

Pros: Opciones , Sabor

Cons: Indicar los ingredientes en carta

Beautiful atmosphere

This tea house has a menu that labels very clearly any common allergens that may be in each dish. The ambience is lovely, particularly the mister that sprays water in the air in the main dining room. I found the service to be quite slow, but the food was good.

Lovely vegan falafel and cozy

Very nice interior and lovely food with vegan options. The falafel was very tasty, and the yoghurt sauce was served seperately. Probably it wasn't vegan. Didn't miss it.

Some really delicious food

I've been here twice and the 1st time we had the vegetable couscous for €18 which was far too expensive for a plate of veges and couscous. I also asked for some harissa as the flavour was bland. However on the 2nd visit we ordered the spinach masaman pastry, lentil soup and falafel with salad. This selection was very tasty and not too expensive. The halwa which we had for dessert was also delicious. I would definitely go here but don't waste your money on the big plates for €18.

Pros: Many vegan options , Lovely surroundings, Nice staff

Cons: Some dishes are too expensive, It's a bit cold inside

Pros: Schneller Imbiss

Cons: Etwas laute Musik, Kleine Tische, wenn man etwas länger sitzen will

Delicious, Flavorful Food

Went to this adorable place with my omni family for lunch and it did not disappoint!! The ambiance was really serene and beautiful. The menu has an amazing tea selection, as well as an abundance of flavorful vegan options (although they are not marked). Our waitress’ English was not perfect, so I don’t think the wait staff would be familiar with specific vegan requests. However, they have a lot of inherently vegan dishes (hummus, salad, veggie tagine), so I don’t think there’s any need to ask what’s vegan and what isn’t.

Pros: Flavorful, well-spiced food, Many inherently vegan options, Beautiful ambiance

Cons: A bit pricy, No marked options

10/5 stars

I loved this place! 10/5 stars for me! Finding food for 1 vegan and 3 non-vegans has been a struggle but places like this are a nice break from the typical tourist restaurants and 100% delicious.

They have lots of vegan options (I would recommend the falafel, the Romaika salad, hummus and Adas soup). I got a filling meal for a decent price.

The waitress was very patient and helpful and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Pros: The food is fantastic, Awesome space , Friendly staff

Cons: Small tables

Great food

This is a tea cafe, not a restaurant. So it's hard to eat when the tables are so small. But the place is cosy with arabic decorations.
Vegan food is not marked in the menu so you have to ask for it. The staff was friendly and explained everything.
We ordered falafels, hummus, couscous with vegetables and tea. The portions were not big and were expensive. But the food was delicious.

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly staff

Cons: Expensive, Vegan options are not marked in the menu

Salon de Te amo

Some of the best falafel and halva FM had ever eaten.

Not the cheapest spot in Cordoba but the unique Arabic decor really made it stand out and it's a good central location as it's 5 mins walk from the Mezquita.

Pros: falafel , decor, peaceful spot but still central

Cons: a little pricey

cosy, friendly, lovely atmosphere

It's a tea shop, not a restaurant. The vegan options we tried were pretty decent. The falafel came with a generous helping of rice and vegetable stew, the mountain of houmous (nicely lemony) with a large serving of warm bread.

The lime tea and Darjeeling tea were both good.

We could have had salads as well - but this was a snack that got out of hand!

The setting is pure Arab kitsch. Somebody had fun kitting it out. Very good North African music in the background.

Very good value.

The place is very nice and beautiful! BUT the only vegan thing is bread with tomato, and hummus if you are lucky.

decent

This is a really cute cafe in a covered courtyard. It's more for tea, with a limited amount of food...basically just some salads and falafel. Maybe our experience would have been better if we knew more Spanish. The guy working there didn't seem to have any patience for us. I tried to ask if the menu of the day was vegan by saying "vegano" which is vegan in Spanish but the guy didn't seem to understand and asked if I meant vegetarian. The salads we were given were good. The falafel wasn't bad but came with undercooked fries, white rice, and a mystery white sauce on the side that we assumed wasn't vegan.

Pros: cute cafe , good tea

Cons: vegan options not obvious

Good falafel and hummus

We had both lunch and dinner in this place, because unfortunately Cordoba is not so vegan friendly. The location was very nice and was perfect for refreshing during a hot day.
The hummus was good and so were the falafels. We had a vegetable cous cous that was really different from the ones I ever tried, but we forgot to ask if they cook it in chicken broth.
The fresh teas seemed all very similar and maybe not homemade. We asked for vegan desserts but all of them contained animal products.

Pros: Very nice location , Good falafel and hummus

Cons: The fresh teas maybe not homemade , No vegan desserts , Few vegan options

Athmospheric

The selection of food is quite limited, but it's a tearoom so it's no big surprise.

FRIENDLY STAFF

Friendly staff were tolerant of my attempts at Spanish, and interested in helping me find the vegetarian options. Pleasant atmosphere in Moorish courtyard.

I had a set lunch for EUROS 12. Salad, falafel with rice, a date/honey pastry, tea from a long list of possible flavours. Large, filling portions. Tasted good - especially the pastry; savoury dishes were spicy.

Lovely setting & good coffees

Salon de Te is close to the cathedral & synagog & easy to get to. It's set in an atmospheric open courtyard with plants and patterned stone floor, with evocative Arabic / Andalucian music playing.
They serve a wide range of teas, fresh fruit juices and a few coffees - including Arabic coffee(flavoured with cardamon), which was lovely. They also have pastries and halwa (which I believe is vegan - I forgot to ask about honey though).
Although they only have two vegan food options - hummous (which comes with warm bread) and falafel, they didn't seem to serve a lot of food, I think people mainly come for the tea and wonderful settings.
