Vegan souvlakis include falafel, dolmades, faux chicken snitz, keepo sauvlaki (veggies) and also has various vegan burgers. All can be made gluten-free. Separate grill and fryers used to cook vegan products. Open Thu 10:00am-9:00pm, Fri 10:00am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

We ordered the falafel plate with an extra grilled eggplant as a side, and a couple of dim sims. The falafels were incredibly dry and didn't have much filling, due in part to being shaped like a mini burger rather than a ball. Besides a small tub of hummus, there was no other sauce to counteract the dryness. The salad was very enjoyable with a nice balsamic dressing. The rest of the falafel plate just felt like something that could be assembled from products found at the supermarket.
Read moreThe dim sims were different to what I've had from here in the past, they're now in a much thicker casing, but the mainly cabbage filling is still very enjoyable, but quite expensive at $2.50 each.
I've had the chickn schnitzel souvlaki previously, and that was really good, great tangy mayo. So if I were in the area again, I would get that.
I deducted a star for several other reasons: that even though we were dining in, our falafel plate came on a styrofoam tray, and there was just so much plastic packaging. We also felt like they kept trying to upsell us, I felt that they did that the previous time we were there as well. Also, when our food was ready, the lady just hollered from inside that it was ready. She isn't particularly friendly, but the two younger people there are really nice and friendly.

I don't often crave Souvlaki but with so many options I might have to visit Sakis more often. I had the vegan chicken schni souvlaki (my picture doesn't do it justice) and shared a small chips, onion rings and veggie dumsims. The Souvlaki was so good and the herb mayo is really tasty. The chips were very crunchy and hot. The onion rings were sooooo good!

It’s been years since I’ve had fried dim sims and souvlaki. Today I was one happy vegan after eating here. I had the eggplant souvlaki and two veggie dim sims. The place was bustling. The food was super tasty and full of flavour. I’ll definitely be back to try the other options.

The vegan chicken burger was the closest thing I have had to KFC since going vegan. I have been vegan for over 6 years so my taste buds might have changed but my god it was goooood!!! And also the best onion rings I have EVER had!!

Was seriously impressed by the vegan menu here! There were a huge range of things to choose from. The owner was absolutely lovely, and so helpful! She showed us the seperate grill and fryer that they use for vegan products. We tried the felafel and chicken shnitz kebabs and the vegan dim sims. All very yummy! Would definitely recommend if you’re around the area or visiting DFO.
