Spoiled for choice with veggie options

Delicious food in a great setting. the owner took the time to talk us through all the options to make sure we didn't end up with any surprises

Gorgeous food

We’ve visited Saki twice on our trip to Dalyan.

The food is beautiful and there are plenty of vegan options. The options change regularly so they don’t have a menu - the selections available were slightly different for us only a couple of days apart.

After a drinks order you will be invited inside where a member of staff will go through what options are available on the day. Mention you’re vegan and they will go through the vegan options.

It is like a tapas style, and two of us shared around 7 dishes on both visits and that was plenty!

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the person who went through the vegan dishes was very helpful and knowledgeable!

Didn't eat here as wouldn't serve tap water, insisting everyone buy plastic bottles of water

We went to Saki after our vegan friend had highly recommended it, having been there about ten times herself over the years.

We didn't even get to try the food before we walked out.

A man served us first (possibly the owner), and I explained my friend had highly recommended the place. He said someone would take our drinks order, and then someone else would explain the menu. We were given a drinks menu.

A waiter then came over, and my son asked what was in one of the cocktails as it wasn't clear. He shrugged and said he didn't know. Rather than going to ask, he just stood there, so we just ordered cocktails and I asked for 2 glasses of tap water and made it very clear we wanted tap water, as there were large plastic water bottles on many of the tables. He went away, and then a while later, I asked the first guy if we could have a food menu to read. He said they don't have menus and said that he would get another man who verbally explains the menu to everyone, to come to our table when we was finished with another table.

Then the waiter came back with a large plastic bottle of water. I explained that we had asked for tap water. He said, 'no tap water', and I explained that we didn't want plastic bottles, that they go in the sea and kill the turtles etc (we'd been to the turtle rehabilitation centre on the beach the day before, where they'd explained this). He said,'we don't have a tap, no tap water'. We were very disappointed as of course they have a tap, and water, as they have a bar and a kitchen. I was very thirsty, as it was extremely hot, and we had ordered expensive cocktails as well and I just wanted a glass of water, not a big bottle. The amount of plastic they were generating on each table was terrible.

So we walked out and went back to our favourite Dream Kitchen, had a beautiful vegan mezze platter, delicious cocktail, tap water, and live music.

Rare vegan find right by the river

Lucky find 🍀 with great selection of vegan & vegetarian local dishes. Home made flavors and way if cooking (not just fried stuff) which was so rare.
We were a big group of 10, mix of vegan & non vegans and we were all super excited trying lots of different things. We all loved literally everything we tried! (only meal in our trip we all agreed it was great!)
Super attentive and friendly stuff, with fluent English.

Pros: Great food options, Loved that we could see the food before ordering, Friendliest stuff, fluent in English

Cons: The pricing wasnt clear but it wasnt expensive

Flagging that there is no drinkable ‘tap water’ in Turkey, all drinkable water, sadly, comes from a plastic bottle in some way or another…..

Best meal in Turkey

Saki is a really lovely, chilled out restaurant. While they do serve meat and fish, their huge mezze selection is mostly vegetarian and about half vegan. All really fresh and delicious, we went back twice and had different things each time (except for the artichoke stuffed with broad beans that was so nice I had to have it again!

Pros: Loads of vegan and veggie options, Lovely service, relaxed atmosphere
