So many apples, so many varieties - Edit
This is a no nonsense year-round operation built on the tradition of farm stands. The indoor facility features easily upwards of ten varieties at the height of apple season. During the winter, from the refrigerated stores, there are about six varieties, sometimes more. At most times, you can choose from bags of min-condition apples or other bags labelled as seconds. All the stations and displays have apple slicers, should you want to try a sample.
Read moreAt many times, a table features a random assortment of farm produce, mostly from area farmers. The owners buy these elsewhere - including farm auction - and then resell them at a reasonable price.
Other prepared foods are on hand: nut butters, jellies. There are also ordering lists for produce - including blueberries and cherries - from other growers, not necessarily local.
Pros: Delicious apples grown on the premises, Many varieties of apples to choose from, Self-service to select apples
