Great Indian in Darwin - Edit
Somewhat upmarket Indian in Parap. Uses biodegradable take away containers. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Spicy options are nice and spicy

Delicious Indian - Edit
I LOVE Saffrron. There is an extensive vegetarian menu, a rarity in Darwin. The curries are consistently delicious and the Dhal is to die for (I am a sucker for Dahl). The Pumpkin Kari Kari, Snake Beans, Dhal (enquire about this one as it often changes) and the Mushrooms are Vegan. The Sarbat, a vegan lemon&lime drink, is delicious and refreshing after a hot Darwin day. Takeaway is always a lovely option as the dishes are quite big and I am never able to finish them.

Saffrron uses Eco-friendly tableware so just a note before going in. I think it is an awesome sentiment and you can see the awards they have won for doing it along the walls as you walk in.
Always be sure to book a table on Friday or Saturday night to avoid disappointment as they may be booked out.
Pros: Lots of Veg options, Many vegan options, Takeaway is an option
