Read moreUpdate 7/6/24: The only flavor they serve is “Veg-O-Licious Black Cherry.” I see the review below, and maybe I’ve been vegan too long and just can’t remember what real ice cream is like, but this is pretty damn good vegan ice cream, to me. My wife thinks so, also. YMMV. A one scoop cone is $10, but welcome to Mackinac Island, this is how everything is.

I love icecream and was excited to see all the good comments, so I had to visit. The parlour was beautiful and in a nice location (next to the Grand Hotel), but they only had one vegan option, "Vegan Black Cherry". I ordered 2 scoops, and they were HUUGE (11dollars)! When it comes to the flavour, it was horrible. It tasted artificial and nothing like icecream. I was not able to eat it and had it throw it away. It's not worth the money..

All they had was boring vanilla vegan ice cream. I tried it first and it was a good flavor - I could taste the coconut milk with which it's made. I would've loved another option but I am always happy when there's even one flavor!

They only had one flavor when we were there- vanilla. The staff member asked me if I wanted to taste it like three times when I asked about it and told her I wanted it. Since there are no other dairy-free choices, I was pretty sure we were going to get it lol!

Good non-dairy chocolate - Edit
Sadie’s ice cream parlor is in the Grand Hotel. You have to ask for the non-dairy flavors (kept separately). I was a fan of the chocolate, but I found the birthday cake too sweet. Worth checking out for good non-dairy ice cream on the island.
