This place was really so so nice. It is a little place in a little side street. You really need to know where you are going, you will not pass by „by chance“. But it is very worth going. You have a wide buffet and the people tell you specifically what is vegan and what is not. The Dürüm I got was really big and filled to the top and very delicious. Also tried the vegan Ayran which was also super delicious. Fully recommend!

We came to Kadiköy to check out its brilliant street art and were delighted to find this bargain lunch spot. You can either grab a plate full of goodies for the equivalent of £2 or pop it all in a wrap for a few pennies more. The price includes four falafel or kofta. You can then add a selection of hot & cold side dishes including lots of fresh veggies before topping it all off with a selection of yummy sauces. Be careful as a few items contain mayonnaise or yoghurt but just tell them you are vegan and they'll point out which these are.

For only 60 liras (2 euro at the time of writing) you can create your own healthy wrap or dish. Ingredients include for example chickpeas, falafel, lentils, couscous, salad, eggplant etc. Most food apart from the falafel is cold but it is really delicious. If you are looking for a cheap hearty meal then this is the right place! 90% of the offerings are vegan but make sure to ask specifically for vegan when ordering.

I’m actually pained to write this because i so want to support the very few vegan establishments in Istanbul. But it’s hard enough being vegan here and having less than mediocre vegan places adds insult to injury. The place is cheap so that’s a huge plus but the food was cold, stale, and tasteless. Because of lack of options it will do, sadly that is.

Courtesy of the crashing lira and rapid inflation, it’s now 18.5tl for a plate, but it’s still a steal. Food is served buffet style where everything is prepared in bulk and you point out what you want, so not everything is going to be hot or perfectly fresh. Getting take out or delivery and popping it in the oven will be necessary if you need it hot.
