Exquisite food!! - Edit
Exquisite food, delightful service and.beautiful space. Rut is now in a 2-way tie for my all time favorite all plant restaurant. I was excited when I saw the menu isn't huge because that usually means more attention to each dish. Very true for Rut; everything we tried was incredible and nuanced in flavors. The cheesecake is tied for the best vegan dessert I've ever had. Their cauliflowerwings are outstanding. . I can't wait to return.

Kids Menu!! - Edit
First of all, the food is DELICIOUS. Fresh and well crafted. But even better for vegan parents, they have a legit kid’s menu! Couldn’t snag a pic before the wee one dug in, but the kid’s cheese burger is basically a smaller version of the adult version, which is to say it is still pretty darn big. A real steal for $8, as it also comes with a generous portion of shoe string fries. The space is upscale looking without being pretentious and the staff is super nice. I highly recommend this spot.

Absolutely phenomenal food. (I wanted an entire trough of their street corn!) Cheerful service. A great location. This is as lovely a dining experience as you have any right to expect. We'll definitely stop in again the next time we're passing through Spokane!

"A party in my mouth" never held so true as at this place! There's so much delicious food to go around, but please, try the Osso Bucco. Also the staff are great. The Alaskan is particularly awesome 👌

Unique Vegan Fare - Edit
The salmon and soba was a fun dish and tasty. I have been vegan for 12 years, but still have memories of salmon and this dish definitely was reminiscent in a light and fresh ocean flavor. The accompanying veggies were great.
Read moreThe soup of the moment was creamy tomato and the texture was so silky, nice mouth feel with a slight sweetness.
The Thai Ginger Cauliflower wings are coated with this lovely sauce I can’t described and then dipping in the sriracha, made the perfect bite.
Overall, fabulous meal. We ate all of it and can’t wait to go back for more.
Pros: Fresh spin on vegan fare, The staff could describe the dishes perfectly , Passion
Cons: Some dishes were pricey, Outdoor seating looks at a parking lot

Go here! - Edit
In town and had to hit this place up! Lot of yummy choices. I've been on a mission to try Bahn Mi sandwich for awhile now. The one here was one of the better ones I've had. Fresh bread, veggies and sauce and enough jalapeño for a little kick. The gazpacho was nice too. We will be back for dinner tonight too.

I had the RUT greens salad. Really good size salad. Salad dressing was good.
We split the White Bean Queso Dip and chips. I could eat that all day!
Crispy Not Chicken Sandwich was good size and yummy.
After all that I was able to eat the Matcha Cheesecake. Matcha sounded kind of weird and not having chocolate on menu I went for Matcha. That was crazy good.

*****TERRIBLE SERVICE BEWARE***** - Edit
This was my first time eating here and was super excited to eat here because I am vegan and its my birthday dinner. I walked in with a starbucks drink, Before I even sat down some girl at the bar rushed over to me and demanded i disposed of my drink or they cant serve me . I went out to the car and left my drink and came back , we were informed we were only able to stay for an hour because of reservations, they tried sitting us right next to the door on the coldest and windiest day of February . I pointed to a different table away from the door and asked if we could sit there instead. She proceeded to tell us that we only have an hour still. ( so good to know that she was trying to place us in the worst possible spot) . Then when I sat down the waitress thanked me for understanding about the drink policy . She didn’t even try to build report with us and ask us if we had any plans ( it was my birthday) but felt like after the whole incident that its not a good time to say it . We were served water that was luke warm and tasted like it came from the sink . The appetizer came out and was yummy i got the chips and queso. The waitress reassured us they moved the reservation to a new table which made me very happy. They brought out the plant based chicken mac and cheese and it was very yummy as well. Then we got our check and they charge a LIVING WAGE percentage on top of the meal . Was going to tip till I saw that . No warning or anything . I have no idea why they feel the need to charge that . Have your EMPLOYER YOU CHOSE to pay you a liveable wage not force your customers to do so then still ask for a tip . Ghetto . The bathroom also doesn’t close all the way the latch doesn’t extend in the wall its stuck so i had someone walk in on me. Do not support this business if they are gouching their employees so severe that customers have to make up for it .

All the sandwiches are amazing! - Edit
Rüt is always a treat! Their menu is seasonal, so it's worth making sure you stop by at least every time it changes over. I still daydream about the banana cheesecake they had in the fall; I wish I'd gotten to eat it more often... This time the menu has a Reuben on it that is absolutely fantastic, but you also can't go wrong with the other sandwiches/burgers that are always there. I have admittedly not tried the other dinner items, but the sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts are all very good. Ps, get the house made ranch with their fries. 👍🏻

100% vegan including the kids menu! Craft cocktails for the adults and a pencil sharpener with the colored pencils for kids. We had the crispy not chicken burger, Rut burger, kids Mac and cheese, kids chicken strips and the adult Mac and cheese. Everybody finished and loved it- even our picky kids.

Favorite Spokane Stop! - Edit
You gotta try it - it being ANYTHING on their menu.
Read moreEvery time I’m in Spokane, I make a point to stop & it never disappoints. I have tried so many things but most recently got the fried not chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries & it was 💯. The banana split cheesecake was rich but delicious!
I’ve also had the Rut burger, truffle mac, white bean queso dip, bok choy bowl, & the lava brownie sundae bowl & oh my goodness. They don’t miss ever! I’ve also brought my non-veg family (who live in Spokane) & they love it too! Looks like they have a kids menu as well!
Pros: Everything is vegan, Everything is fire, Not a bad thing on the menu
Cons: May be considered pricey to some

Went with my omni stepdad and an omni friend, and they both loved the food - two of us got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wraps and one got the Mac & Cheese - everything was divine! The dirty fries and sweet potato fries were also awesome. Nice vibes, great service, and check out the amazing sink in the restroom! I wish we had Rut in my town😄
