Scrummy cakes - Edit
Seeing that Ruby’s came up as the best bakery in West London, we couldn’t help but stumble in when we walked past.
Read moreThe staff were super friendly and recommended the chocolate orange bundt cake, which we took home as a small treat. The cake was an absolute delight. It was really moist, covered in tasty chocolate and filled with jam. We kinda wished we’d bought some more, but were being ‘sensible’ as we were already having lunch and dinner out that day!
Pros: Scrummy cakes, Friendly staff

Very eye pleasing cakes and sandwiches. Sandwich was so tasty, I didn’t even know I liked dill, now I’m gonna put it on everything. Will revisit again for sure.

Pleasantly surprised!f - Edit
I made the long trip to SE london to visit a local museum (maritime museum, which is awesome) and I was not disappointed by the food here. Firstly the cakes I had (yes I was greedy and bought two!) were scrumptious. Absolutely divine! The taste and texture was on point. Icing wasn’t overbearing like they are on some cakes. The salad was excellent too, but the icing on the cake was the hot chocolate. Hands down it was the best hot chocolate i’ve had in my life!
Read moreThe only let down was the vegan sausage roll. I didn’t like it. Had them from a few places and have liked it elsewhere but just not a fan of the one served here. Also, inside, they should replace stools with chairs with backs so you can rest properly.
Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Arguably worth the trip here just for the hot chocolate!😄

We stopped here by chance and knew we had to try something. The stuff welcomed us warmly. We had one muffin, one Red-Velvet cupcake and a little quiche. All were amazing.

Adorable cafe - Edit
The woman at the counter was very friendly and wanted to showcase all the offerings; she seemed very proud of them. As I had already eaten lunch but wanted to support this plant based business, I ordered a donut for takeaway. I liked that it was baked and not fried. It was satisfying and not overly sweet. I would love to come back for lunch someday!

Amazing! - Edit
I absolutely loved our trip to Ruby’s! The staff were lovely and welcoming, the interior was pretty and they had a huge selection of delicious vegan cakes! We went for the Lemon Elderflower Raspberry cake and an Apple Caramel Crumble muffin, with a ChariTea red and Lemonade. The cake was my favourite – rich and absolutely delicious! The muffin was also really delicious too and I would definitely come back to try more of their range!

Everything looks so good! - Edit
Ruby's was a great space to duck out of the bustling Greenwich Market to have a breather. It was Easter weekend when I went so I had a hot cross bun, toasted and 'buttered'. It was really lovely - had the classic texture and flavour. But...ooh, it was hard to choose. Everything looked absolutely amazing, especially the cakes and cookies! I would definitely visit again. It also seems like you can find their goodies at Harrod's and some other places more in the city center.

Scrumptious celebration cakes - Edit
My partner ordered a delicious Rose and Pistachio cake for my birthday from here. It was beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. The rose flavour wasn't too overpowering and the sponge was soft. The cake was enjoyed by both vegans and non-vegans. It is pricy but definitely worth it for an occasion!

Nice sweet treat - Edit
It was very quiet when I visited. The options available were a peanut blondie, a cupcake, a spiced orange chocolate cake and another one, most likely a carrot cake.
Read moreI had a peanut and raspberry brownie. It was very moist, more cake like than brownie, and the peanut wasn’t a strong flavour, but tasty. The staff were cheerful and positive and I would go again, despite the high price tags.

Ruby’s - Edit
Excellent, cute bakery! The cakes here are phenomenal. You can grab a slice in the cute bakery or order a custom cake online. I ordered a beautiful vegan birthday cake from Ruby’s a few months ago and the non-vegans who ate it were in love with the cake too. You cannot go wrong here. This is my #1 place in London for birthday cakes.

Ruby's ridiculously YuMarvellous Vegan cupcakes - Edit
Really impressed!! Extravagant (for 'me' - I hasten to add) but absolutely worth every penny for a very special treat... and for the reaction from the slightly Vegan skeptic receiver of the cupcakes and his Office colleagues (devoured - and 'loved' - within about 5 minutes🙂)
