Decent Chinese food - Edit
They have a bunch of solid options and are nearby a bakery for dessert after. They have seitan options which are nice compared to the usual tofu options at stores. Not bad but also nothing special just all around average takeout.

My Go-To - Edit
Finding vegan Chinese in Bethlehem is almost impossible. Most places around use chicken stock in their sauces, even in their veggie and tofu dishes. So this place is my go-to. Prices are in line with any Chinese restaurant, there's several vegan options and the staff is friendly.

As locals we should've tried this spot sooner - Edit
As locals we've probably tried every Chinese food spot in Bethlehem, this was a great surprise. More than just the usual General Tsos tofu; they do 5-6 seitan (fake chicken) dishes in addition to the bean curd/tofu/veg options. We did the garlic fake chicken & the Hunan... really tasty! Huge portions, reasonable prices. The place was spotless & staff very nice. This will be our regular spot!

Cons: No delivery, only takeout

Delicious Chinese Food - Edit
Although we weren't expecting much when we first saw the place, we have now been eating here regularly for years because their veggie dishes are so delicious. My husband loves their imitation chicken, my mother loves the General Tso's Bean Curd, and my (normally incredibly picky) son and I usually alternate between the Bean Curd w. Garlic Sauce and the Buddhist Delight. Their proximity to Vegan Treats and the fact that the owners are so sweet are extra bonuses.

Decent, nothing fancy - Edit
Your basic Chinese takeout place. Has tofu dishes (as do most Chinese takeout places, often labeled "bean curd"), and also has a few seitan dishes (labeled as "imitation meat" on their menu). No-frills strip mall space with counter service. Has a couple of tables but obviously more of a takeout than dine-in kind of place. Food is fairly inexpensive and comes out quickly. Nothing really special or worth going out of your way for, but it is conviently located just a couple of blocks from Vegan Treats, so if you've made the pilgrimage there and need some actual food to balance out your desserts, this place is a reasonable option.

decent selection for the area - Edit
With not many options for veg dining in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, we opted to grab take out from Ruby Cafe. The food was decent but nothing mind blowing. We had left overs, that were hard to finish as we were traveling and only there 1 night. Not a bad option. The imitation chicken is seitan, and the 2 items we got tasted the exact same, 1 of which was even labeled spicy.
Read morePros: clearly marked on the menu, decent price/portion size
Cons: Everything tastes the same, Seitan was ok, would have prefered tofu

pretty good in a pinch - Edit
Standard Chinese take-out menu with the happy edition of an imitation meats section. Sadly for those gluten-free-ers, it's mostly seitan, but still a nice option for those who can!

actually really awesome! - Edit
I just went here this afternoon on my way for a vegan treats trip and was very pleasantly surprised. I was thrown off by the bad review here but it has so many good reviews on yelp I gave it a try anyway and those guys were right! The vegan/vegetarian dishes are tofu or "imitation chicken" based and are your standard dishes like general tso's or mixed with veggies. They also have a vegan vegetable roll (basically a spring roll). The prices are inexpensive and half an order of generals tso's imitation chicken and a veggie roll only cost me about 7 dollars all together and was enough food for a good meal and leftovers. The restaurant was clean looking and bright inside and while I was waiting at least four other people came in picking up food so it was actually pretty busy and it was only maybe 4 in the afternoon at the latest. I don't know about msg and all the things the previous reviewer was worries about, but the food was really delicious and didn't give me the feeling of msg poisoning which normally happens if I miss that it's in some food I ate. In anycase, I will definitely be going back again. I hope this raises it's rating a little because people are missing out if they've been avoiding it due to its happy cow one star
