Ever Reliable Vegetarian food

Ru Lai has been around a long time, and yet have maintained their tasty food, while improving their ingredients & cooking over the years. You can always count on them for something yummy.

Beehoon & rice with vegetable dishes are available in the morning, while Tzu Char are available for lunch & dinner.

Pros: Constantly improving their food, Reasonable cai fan pricing

Cons: Food can be oily

Value for money!

Pretty decent vegetarian tze char, at affordable prices.

Not strongest in wok hei, but decent.

(It's a coffee shop - so don't expect aircon and table service)

Pros: Chilli, Price , Friendly service

Cons: Could have more wok hei

Headed to 𝗥𝘂 𝗟𝗮𝗶 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 @ Sin Ming Road for takeaway! We had the 𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒎 𝒇𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒓-𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒔! Extensive menu and I doubt you’ll leave there without finding something you like.

Pros: Extensive menu, short waiting time

Cons: abit pricey

Super good vegetarian hawker stall!

My favourite vegetarian stall of all time. Seriously every dish is good! It’s what I eat on the daily, and would still want it for my birthday dinner. Try it!😄

Tasty and economical zhi char

Usually come here for lunch. Second time having dinner here and try the zhi char.

Love the claypot hor fun and the olive fried rice. The Yong tau fu soup needs to get used to the filling through.

Pros: Lots of options, Cheap

Cons: Don't open till too late so come early.

Carrot cake is nice but very oily

Auntie don’t look friendly, the rest are friendly. Black carrot cake is oily and sweet. But it is niceeee! Worth trying!

Fully stocked early in the morning

Dropped by in the morning around 7am and the stall is already fully laid with a wide selection of dishes, economy rice style, with noodles and kuay tiow options too, no compromise on greens; goes to show the amount of life and energy the operators have!
Many drivers stopped by just to get a plate of their white fried carrot cake to start the day.
They have restaurant style dishes suitable for group dining.

Pros: Wide variety, Taste has standard
