Nice to have options

My omni family loves Roy's for special occasions and I was worried I wouldn't be accommodated.
Every table gets seasoned edamame to start. I had the tofu steak with cucumbers, carrots and white rice.
The other entree option was a vegetable napoleon and they also had a veggie roll appetizer. There were no vegan dessert options.
It was tasty, but nothing special for the price. I wouldn't make a special trip for it but it's nice to know that I won't be left out when my family chooses Roy's.

New owners, new menu horrible experience

Very swanky place that offers Polynesian food. Vegans should phone in advance but be warned that new management is not vegan friendly. I have been here four times. This time, the waitress did not know they had vegan options she said there was nothing to accommodate. I assumed she was new but she said she has been there a year. They eliminated all vegan options and have the three labeled as vegetarian. I was pretty much told that vegans are not encouraged to dine.

Pros: beautiful inside

Cons: vegan items not listed, Waitress felt vegans should not dine out
