Worth it if you're staying locally, better options elsewhere if not

No seperate vegan menu anymore. They now do two salads and Vietnamese "meat"balls in sweet&sour sauce. Their mushroom burger with chips can be vegan but thats just taking the halloumi off, not subbing it. As a non mushroom fan who was excited about pub-grub after a hike I was a bit disappointed as was only left with the "meat"balls, which were reasonably tasty but sauce & noodles tasted like packet. Pricey too at £16.

Fantastischer veganer Burger

Wir waren zwei Mal hier. Der vegane Pilzburger war einer der besten, die wir je hatten! Beim veganen Gratin fehlte leider der (vegane) Käse. Damit war es etwas langweilig. Dafür ist das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei der Getränkeauswahl.

Pros: Gemütliche Atmosphäre , Vegane Karte, Freundliche Bedienung

Cons: Nicht immer alles verfügbar

Super salad

Had a brilliant lunch on the sunny picnic benches outside. My squash and quinoa salad was fantastic and looked so appetising. Vegan nachos were rated by kids and the staff were so helpful.

Pros: Lovely setting, some vg options, great salad

Nice country pub

Separate vegan menu and helpful staff. Nice location at village green. Dogs are allowed inside. Had the Mushroom Burger with very tasty tomato chutney.
