Bakery with vegan option - Edit
Ross is a very small historical town in Midlands Tasmania. There is a lovely bakery with delicious vegan soup, usually tomato and vegetables served with a big sourdough bun.

Gorgeous historic bakery - Edit
Beautiful bakery in the middle of Tasmania, in the historic town of Ross. They bake everything in a wood fired oven and when it's not busy you can have a look at it.
Read moreThey have a vegan roll (like a sausage roll) that is mild curry and vegetables; it's also gluten-free. The pastry is flakey and the roll is delicious. The day that I went the soup of the day was also vegan. Definitely worth stopping on your way to Hobart or Launceston!
Pros: Vegan options, Beautiful historic town
Cons: Can get busy

Stopped in again today, and had the vegan roll again. Very happy with it, next time I'll try the soup. Today they also had vegan banana bread, which I didn't try but good that they have a sweet option.
