Tasty burger at the Rose

I was really impressed with the vegan options. I thought I'd misheard my husband when he said there was a burrata dish. I was very tempted to try it but went with the burger as the Gouda intrigued me. If you miss stretchy melted cheese this is the one for you. The jalapeno mayo and tomato relish give it a nice flavour kick. I was too full to try a pudding. There are a couple of starter choices; arancini was tempting, and also pizza.
We didn't need a reservation either, we walked in at 5pm and were served really quickly

Pros: Pub atmosphere with no fuss, Good choices on the menu with vegan and veggie, Table service if you need it

Cons: No obvious allergen menu

Few but decent vegan items

Had the burger and the pizza, both excellent. Cosy atmosphere

Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Friendly staff
