Perfect Sunday Choice - Edit
I always wanted to go to this place but I never managed it. This was my first time in Roots Shots and I loved it! Crew was really understanding and sweet. The flavors and variability was great. Didn't tried it but they said they also have smoothie kind of stuff other than Vegan flavors and desserts. Definitely recommend you to go to this place!

Not bad, could be improved a bit - Edit
This is a small cafe on Bağdat street which mostly offers healthy style, home cooked food.
Read moreYou can get a plate with between 2-4 of the precooked options which are displayed at the counter. This costs approx. between 100tl-200tl. They also offer desserts, salads/some cold mezes, smoothies, tea/coffee etc.
I tried the savoury cauliflower, islim kebabı (soya meat wrapped in aubergine), savoury rice and mac and cheese.. The cauliflower and islim kebabı were pretty good, the rice was ok. The "mac and cheese" was nothing really like that, just some not great, gluten-free fusilli style pasta with a minimal amount of something resembling small quantities of vegan cheese. The overall serving size was also a little small for the price. Unfortunately the non-meze food suffers from the fact that it's precooked and needs to be reheated, although this is understandable in a small place with limited resources.
The vegan brownie was ok but a little bit too heavy/stodgy. I'm sure that the gluten-free status is a considerable limiting factor here - useful if you're looking for this type of food but otherwise it can contribute to some odd tastes and textures in things like pasta and flour-based desserts.
If I was going back here again, I would probably try the cold meze dishes, or alternatively if they have anything which can be freshly cooked such as sigara böreği.
Pros: Good selection of all vegan food, Food seems quite healthy, Pleasant area / location
Cons: Quality is a bit hit & miss depending on selection, A little expensive for what you get

Homemade vegan profiterol is really delish! There are also vegan and gluten free food options that I haven’t tried yet.
