We went there just to get a coffee before a hike and were not really happy. The cappucino was quite expensive compared to other vegan cafés we visited on our trip. Unfortunetly it wasn‘t good either, a lot of water, not so much taste..

Pretty expensive is a bit of an over statement for the actual price. Nonetheless, not all the cafes are the same, the menu is outside and the costumers can decide beforehand if they would like or not to enjoy a coffee at ROOTS Aljezur!

Read moreHome made soup is delicious and so many naughty but nice desserts to follow. Waffles are amazing with savoury and sweet options. I love the peanut brownie.
Everything is made or grown by locals.
Staff are super friendly and it’s such a nice atmosphere to chill and spend time with friends. It’s become my favourite regular spot

I love the way this place is set out - you get to meet other guests. It's comfy, cute, authentic and cheerful. The food is great and you can get local organic veggies here too. Also available delicious Raw ChocoMama chocolates!!😄

The shop is very small and doesn't have a lot of seating.
In addition to breakfast, they sell also tea, fruits, vegan cheese and vegan wine.
However, the staff do not think much of the applicable Covid measures and do not follow them.
Pros: All vegan, Nice atmosphere
Cons: Don’t follow Covid rules, Not a lot of variety

A vegan café in an unexpected place! - Edit
This very small café/store is a perfect place for having breakfast/brunch and relaxing a bit. Everything is made fresh on the spot. I tried the waffles, which were very delicious, and so filling that I wasn't hungry at lunchtime!
