A little health store along the main approach road into Aljezur driving north on the left (easy to miss, so look for it). Stocks many products, including German and Dutch goods, a macrobiotic section, fresh baked bread, a small selection of vegan and biodynamic wines. No deli or fresh produce. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-19:00, Sat 09:00-13:30.

All right. Have not seen fresh bread. Possible that some is not organic, because our ice cream in retrospect had no organic seal.

I love this place! - Edit
I love the great vegan range available here. So much lovely stuff! I kind of fell in love with this shop. On the downside, when I asked the manager for a chocolate recommendation she pointed me to something with milk in and said she "likes the real stuff". So she's not vegan and is clearly oblivious to animal cruelty.

Nice to find some vegan stuff - Edit
I was happy I could find this small place where I could buy some tofu and vegan sausages and steaks. Easy to prepare a dinner with those when you're in holidays (we just had salad, cherry tomatoes, bread, avocado, watermelon and vegan sausage for diner and it was perfect like this, much cheaper than in restaurants). In the street it's the number 116.

Read morethe lack of fresh fruit and vegetables is not too bad as you get really good ones from the region in a grocery shop and on the market.
Pros: single shop in that area, good stuff
Cons: rather expensive, no fresh fruit & veggies
