Great place, funky vibe, solid food options for vegans and non-vegans alike.
Read moreI shared the vegan nachos (non-vegans liked them too) and had the vegan chicken Caesar wrap, which was really good.
Looking forward to trying the other vegan options!

I love that Root Down has a lot of vegan options on the menu. I tried their vegan cheesesteak and it was decent, but nothing amazing. Their potato wedges were great! I also liked the atmosphere and service. While the vegan cheesesteak wasn’t the best, I do plan on coming back to try some of the other vegan options.

While the queso blanco pizza (pictured) wasn’t the best, nor was the service (dude at the bar was kinda rude and abrasive towards me from the jump when I requested the bill be split when paying, as I did from the start when we ordered) the rest of the staff was GREAT and I always love going there during the Punk Rock Flea Market. It’s so cool that they do have such a big vegan menu & I plan to try the other options in the future. I did have the big pretzel with the vegan cheese and that was SO good. Reminded me of the pretzels at the mall back in the day.

Skilled in the Vegan Ways - Edit
We have never had a bad vegan meal here. It's a FABULOUS brewery in a funky town. Every Wednesday they have 3 "Special" Vegan options in addition to the regular vegan offerings on the menu. This one was AMAZING. Try it out. You won't be disappointed (food or beer)

Loved the variety of vegan items on the menu, which include vegan cheese, sour cream, and meat substitutes (impossible). We had a great experience and will definitely go back again.

Awesome atmosphere and beer. Vegan vibes on Wednesday - three vegan dishes that are not normally on their menu. Regular menu has some delicious vegan foods, or foods that can be made vegan.

Vegan n Vibes Wednesdays! - Edit
If you follow Root Down Brewing on Facebook they post their special vegan menu every Wednesday. A weekly event at the pub is “vegan vibes” Wednesday. Chef Guy has never disappointed. He creates delicious vegan food. I don’t even drink and come here for the food it’s delicious. I highly recommend since they throw in some live music as well at 6:30.

Delicious food! We had the cauliflower Buffalo wings, chickpea cauliflower tacos and veggie fajitas. It was SO good! The beer was tasty! Great service!

Amazing vegan nachos, cauliflower bites, hummus, burrito, and pita with falafel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is sometimes the quality is inconsistent. Once our nachos were all crumbs, and another time the hummus was almost too salty to eat. Other than that, super yummy

I was very surprised with the amount of vegan options offered. We had the spicy cauliflower which was so good. Wanted the pretzels but they were out. So we opted for both types of fries. Then for the entree we got the tacos. A lot of food for the price. Plus a great vibe. Wide open space.

I was pretty impressed with the number of vegan options at this brewing company. I ordered the sriracha cauliflower and it was doused in the hot sauce! Definitely don't order it unless you like heat! We also had a veggie burger which was quite tasty.
