I had the vegan mushroom entree. It was so good, my friend that doesn't like mushrooms even loved it.

The outdoor seating is just so cute and nice.
I wish they had more vegan options, but it's definitely worth the money I think.

Not impressed with menu - Edit
I did not find enough options here to frequent this establishment as a vegetarian. There seem to be plenty of meat-based offerings though. A name such as "Root & Vine" gave me thoughts that it may be all-vegan or vegetarian. But that is not the case, which can be found very quickly by looking at any of the menus here. In any case, this is not a place for someone on a budget. The interior is not unpleasant though, so I will give rating that indicates it could use some improvement.

Worst Pizza - Edit
The pizza was doughy in the middle & burned on the crust with watery spots all over. Had better Pizza hut at lower prices. Staff was incredibly rude and acted like they didn't have time to care or didn't care.

I attended a group dinner, prize fix, with a plant based group. Food was very good fro apps, to salads, and entrees. Had two desserts but passed on them. Friendly attentive service, good food presentation also. Chef came out and talked to us about the food and it’s preparation, very attentive to details, he also lives a plant based lifestyle, so his creations are along these lines and loves to introduce new and more plant friendly items. Would definitely go back. We sat outside, nice garden setting. Indoor seating was spacious and well appointed.

Great Food and Drinks - Edit
I frequent Morganton for work and have always wanted to stop in and see what's good. Today I finally had the chance to check it out. I was lucky enough to catch the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER on the menu!!! I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Great burger with vegan cheese and a vegan bun (and marked as such on the menu). I spoke with the chef (whose sous chef is vegan) about options on the menu - there are usually 4-5 items that are vegan or can be made vegan. This will be my lunch spot from now on, and I plan to bring my coworkers! I would also love to stop by for supper because of the extensive drink menu.. Highly recommended! Would give 5 stars, but they do serve meat/dairy.

Lunch - Edit
Had a nice vegetarian lunch here recently and was pleased to see some vegan options on both the lunch and dinner menus. This is a small, cozy restaurant in downtown Morganton. Friendly service, good food. Had a fairly busy crowd for a weekday lunch. Good to know that there is an option in Morganton for a vegan meal.
