Bad day maybe? - Edit
Let's talk food first: The starters I had (a parsnip soup and turnip carpacchio) were good. But the third course (quite boring tomato pasta) was waaaay too salty and the beetroot blini had little taste. There was no vegan dessert. So the food was only okay-ish.
Read moreThe main problem was the service though. It started good, I had mentioned one vegan guest in the reservation and they immediately told me that the kitchen menu can be ordered vegan. But we waited more than 30 minutes for our drinks, had to ask for water three times, and got the first food course after 1 hour and 45 minutes! The wait for the following courses was also very long. And there were only two other tables with guests, so it was not busy. And the waiter laughed about the salty food instead of apologizing.
My star rating is only based in the food as that was meh enough even without the bad service.

Wow. Get the vegan tasting menu. - Edit
You will need to ask for a vegan version as it is not stated on the menu. After a little confusion with the menu itself, the chef came over with fresh olives and let me know that there is in fact vegan options.
Read morelet’s talk about the amazing experience I had. We started our meal with a celeriac soup with sweet and sour lingonberries. It was creamy and hot, poured right in front of me at the table. Then I had the carrots, covered in a fresh oat cream with sage and olive oil. It was creamy and sweet with nuts sprinkled on top for the crunch. The star of the show for me was the pesto pasta. It was super creamy and the flavour of the pesto was unique. After this I had the roasted pumpkin with pickled pumpkin, feta and pumpkin seeds. I wish I wasn’t so full at this point. Everything was incredible. I didn’t have room for dessert, but they have vegan dessert if you have enough room.
Pros: incredible flavour, Exceptional service

Lovely place - delicious food - Edit
We had 4-course vegan dinner (we skipped the dessert but there was at least two different vegan options for that). We had two starters: asparagus & vegan aioli and parsnip with beetroot. For entree we had pasta with tomato sauce & vegan cheese (I think they make their own cheese, tasty anyway!). For main we had sweet potato & broad beans. Everything was tasty. And filling with 4 courses! Staff is lovely.
