Healthy and tasty vegan bowls

Nice, small restaurant with 100% vegan menu and great atmosphere. I had avocado bowl, it was really delicious, but I prefer a little bit more spices/herbs in my food. Anyway it was great meal, big portion, fresh and healthy. I had also marzipan bun/roll and it was very tasty too. I will be back for sure!

Edit: I visited this place again, everything was fresh and really tasty, bowls, sweet buns, breakfast options.. Highly recommended!

ups and downs

Their "teriyaki tšikin" bowl is one of my favourites. It's my go-to, when I am hungry and want something filling, but still somewhat "healthy". Also, it's the reason why I haven't yet tried many of their other options yet.

But their "spicy no chicken pasta" was pasta in unflavored tomato puree. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen and forgot to put in seasoning😄 Would not order again.

Pros: bowls, staff, all vegan

My no. 1 in Tallinn

Amazing menu, I would like to try everything! I had a nomelet croissant and kringel for breakfast, but their main meals looked wonderful, too - and I am not even talking about all the desserts, including macarons. Super cosy atmosphere and friendly staff (which is not so common in Tallinn). Very reasonably priced.

Pros: Reasonable prices, Cosy, Open for breakfast

Cons: None!

Good place for breakfast

I was looking for a place which serves breakfast and his was my first vegan place that appeared on my radar. I liked the atmosphere, however it was a bit cold inside during November. But the staff was nice and friendly. I had the croissant and they also had freshly squeezed orange/grapefruit juice, but I think that I should’ve gone for “omelette”.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Quite expensive

Cosy cafe with great warm drinks

We ended up eating at this cafe 3 times during our stay, because it was closeby to where we were staying, but also because their food and drinks were that good. The first time we went, we were there for lunch. The little corn nuggets are their only appetizer was deeelicious. I had to convince my husband not to lick the platter. The bowls are really good. But we went back twice for breakfast, mostlt because the croissant sandwiches, nomelet, and warm coffee/tea drinks are fantastic. It's also really nice they give you a choice between coconut milk, almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk.
Seems to be a popular place to have a drink and work on their computer. Service was swift, and the kitchen is efficient.
Just FYI, you need to order at the counter, so you can get an English menu there, sit down with it, and go back up when you're ready.

Pros: Great coffee/tea drinks, Comfortable seating, Reasonably priced food

Healthy and rich in flavours

Vegan restaurant just across Balti Jaam tram stop. Although I knew that Rohe was somewhere around there and I had passed this place many times, I never found them! Finally I was standing just 15 meters away and still had to google😄There should be more leading signs.
The waitress was helpful and interior cozy, decorated with plants. There were three tiny desks on the street as well.
Tšikin caesar salad was tasty. Good for a liht meal😄
The other time I had tempeh bowl. You could really understand that they had tried to create flavours but overall everything was too overflavoured for me. The tempeh was wayyyy too salty and I had hard time eating just half of it. I would have preferred more greens and less marinated and salted ingredients. Luckily I wasn´t that full afterwards as @maritetii😄
Despite the salty tempeh I will go back and try other dishes as well😄

Best poke bowls you can find

There's a lot of good to be said about Rohe, but one thing that consistently keeps blowing my mind and gets me going back for more is their "Teriyaki Tšikin", which started as a competent seitan-based chicken approximation, but lately became so, so much better.

But nevermind that, we're not here because we're missing the chicken texture. What amazes me is that unlike most places - especially a bunch of more expensive places than Rohe - the poke bowl is just perfect. Everything is balanced perfectly, not too cold, not too warm, not too chewy, not bland, not too crunchy. Every part of the meal just fits together, bar none.

(Except for the cucumber. Cucumber is a war crime that should be banned internationally. If you don't think cucumber tastes bitter, you're a part of the problem.)

Pros: artistic balance of veggies in the Teriyaki Tšikin, it's a cute location, good vibe, the staff is lovely

Cons: last time in the courtyard there was a mischievous, crow that kept throwing small pebbles at me, from the roof (and I love him for it)

Excellent place! Try the bowls! The atmosphere is very relaxing.

The staff was very friendly and the place has a cozy feel to it. Very modern with great food options. We had the terrikayki bowl and it was excellent. Our top favorite place in Tallin.

Simply my new fave place!

I have to say that this place has become my new favorite just after my first visit! Great food, nice service and cozy little cafe with outdoor seating as well.
I ordered a tempeh bowl which was so flavoursome and truly filling. The cake and coffee were divine too! Everything tasted so fresh. A must go place in Tallinn for sure. I get why so many people talk about it.
Ps! Their pastries are delicious and worth a try too (especially the pistachio one!)

Best cakes!

Awesome new addition to Tallinn's veg scene! Only tried cake so far but it was one of the best ever! Big, fluffy and stunning, definitely 10++! The place is cosy for a casual lunch and the prices reasonable (4€ for cake). Looking forward to go again and try the savory dishes too!

Pros: Awesome cakes!, Friendly service, Nice place

Chicken lovers paradise

A great place for everyone who loves chicken. Their soya protein chicken will convince also meat eaters. It even might get uncomfortable for vegans to eat it, because it is so convincing.
Beautifully served, simple place. Great cakes for dessert.

THE BEST

Chicken caesar salad and chicken teriyaki bowl were sooooooo goooood. Oat cappuccino was also the best coffee we had in our trip. Really reasonably priced, super nice staff, ah I just wish we would have a place like this back home..!

Pros: Everything

Nice food but not cheap. Average experience

Was not an memorable experience but nothing bad.
We had a GF vegan burger, Portabello bowl, snickers and a slice of passionfruit cake.
The cake was nothing exciting. Overpriced for a sugary treat. Snickers was also overpriced but it was tasty!
The 2 meals were tasty although the burger was €9 euro and it was a bit small but still it was tasty

Pros: Food was nice, Staff were nice.

Cons: Too expensive for my liking.

Most convincing fake chicken I've eaten

I really liked the taste and texture of chicken before I went vegetarian / vegan, and I have been chasing the same taste and texture it in vegan food, but never really found it until today. For a bit I really thought I messed up with looking up restaurants and that it really was real chicken meat. I had the teriyaki bowl and my GF had spicy nochicken pasta, and we both were amazed.

Very very good

It's truly a great place located behind the central train station and generally a hip area. The food is lovely, I've had Teryaki bowl and different pastry on many occasions. The cakes are also really good, very fancy hand-made by Sandra Sentjurin.
An all vegan cafe-restaurant with truly yummy food, what else can one desire?

Pros: Excellent food with lots of options, Free tapped water, Friendly staff

Cons: A bit full on lunchtime
