Delicious food and helpful staff

We had a slightly confusing start to our visit when the menu we were given at our table was different to the one in the window and didn't show any vegan options. However we asked about vegan options and the lovely owner brought the other menu and talked us through the vegan choices. Everything was absolutely delicious, and generous portions. We had chilli tofu and spring rolls, two types of veg stir fry, rice and jasmine tea. It looked far too much when it arrived but we finished it all as it was so good. The lady had a very friendly conversation with us about veganism. Huddersfield can feel like a meaty wasteland in the evening and Rivers was a wonderful find. We'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.
