Stopped for a coffee and cake but was very tempted by other vegan options on the menu.

Simply the best in town! - Edit
Absolutely cannot fault these little gem shops. Working in the town centre with limited choices Riverhead is the beautiful, safe haven with some brilliant vegan options. The staff are amazing and always put a smile on my face on even the worst of days.

I popped in with a friend. I had the tomato and thyme soup, wowsers 🥳 it was so delicious and the bread and v spread kept me filled for the whole afternoon.

Best Coffee in NE Lincs - Edit
Whenever I'm home visiting family in Grimsby I always make sure to grab a coffee and cake from Riverhead, either at their Grimsby site or their Cleethorpes site. They have the most amazing vegan cakes and sweet treats (my favourite being the lemon cake). Always my number 1 choice for brunch, especially as anywhere else in Grimby/Cleethorpes I find myself saying 'please can I have beans on toast with no butter' an awful lot.

I went here with some friends and I really enjoyed it. It’s a quiet little cafe, with a lovely atmosphere. I got the vegan club sandwich that I had been recommended and it was amazing 😉 I would 100% go again and recommend this place to others. The staff are super nice too.

I absolutely love the atmosphere here. A little rustic and bohemian which gives a warm, relaxing, welcoming vibe.
Read moreThe food is lovely - I usually have baked sweet potato with hummus +balsamic onions. The vegan options are limited tho, unless you’re just going in for cake!
A few more lunch options and this place would get more visits from me.
