amazing vegan lunch - Edit
Full review coming to Littlevbigv.com but to briefly say the field kitchen here served us up the most delicious vegan three course lunch. They serve meat too but were very thoughtful and friendly towards us. I called a day ahead to book and inform that 2 of us were vegan - no issues at all. We were even allowed to bring the dog! Really recommend but book and notify them in advance. Pictures uploaded. Amazing location and restaurant. Farm shop separate which we didn't see.

Not impressed - loads of meat and no vegan pies! - Edit
We were surprised how much meat and animal products the shop stocked as well as the lush looking veg and bread.
Read moreThere were no vegan options at the pie counter (was told there might be some lentil ones in an hour ... so we went to Fat Lemons for food instead).
Seems just the same as shopping in any mainstream store as you are surrounded by meat and animal products still.
Pros: local produce, veg, bread
Cons: no vegan pies available, meat and animal products throughout shop, not much for vegans
