Italian Pizzeria/Restaurant on the side of the road and could potentially save your vegan [censored] - Edit
There are pretty limited vegan options outside of large towns in Puglia, so this cheap and cheerful Italian restaurant saved us for a few nights whilst travelling around Manduria. We ordered a Marinara Pizza with added capers, aubergine and olives, the mixed salad, large fries and Oriecchiette al Pomodorino (authentic tomato pasta which is usual vegan wherever it is served!). It was all delicious, and very affordable. The next door had similar options but for double the price. The staff don’t speak much English so have your vegan phrases ready!
