Vegan hikers dream

As far as mountain huts go; a vegan dream. Two pagea of vegan options including local/traditional sweets and pies. We stayed over and also had breakfast. Which included soy yoghurt, cereal, bread (they even considered that the white bread is often not vegan), fruit and a sweat pie. Loved it!

Plenty of vegan options but rude staff

I was so surprise to read so many vegan options on the menu. I got a vegan strudel with a vanilla cream and it was very delicious. It is a pity the staff was very rude and seemed very frustrated.

Cons: Nur gemahlener Pfeffer

Vajolet

Molto buoni in particolare i dolci.

Great selection

Despite being a mointain refugee there are many vegan options to eat. The prices are fair and whilst I was not flashed away by the taste it was surprisingly diverse and interesting.

For breakfast you get some fruits, jam and cornflakes with soy milk.

Pros: Many vegan options, Fair pricing, Supportive Atmosphere

Cons: Service seemed to be in a hurry

A gem in the mountains!

Two full pages of vegan options, perfect after a day of hiking! The ravioli and the vegan burger were fantastic. The place was very busy and so was the staff, but everyone was still very friendly.

It would have deserved also the fifth star

Me and my boyfriend have been in this mountain hut twice and we quite literally ate like there was no tomorrow, so I can tell you that every dish on their surprisingly long vegan menu is delicious! The portions are also very generous and the price is more than fair. After our first meal we went to thank personally the manager, which is a nice lady and she said she improved their vegan choices since she's vegan. Yay! Also the staff is nice. I heartily recommend this place, I think it's our favourite so far.

Pros: Two pages of vegan dishes on their menu, Huge portions and fair price, Literally everything is delicious

Cons: I can't find anything to say for the cons side

Best vegan mountain refuge food ever!

Unbelievable vegan offering for a mountain refuge! For dinner, most guests are offered a few options from a 3-course fixed menu, but we were allowed to choose any 3 things from a 2-page vegan listing. This resulted in a huge amount of excellent food, to the envy of all the meat-eaters around! Plenty options at breakfast too, with soy milk aplenty.

Pros: Full choice from extensive vegan menu , Soy milk at breakfast, Good value

Excellent

Pros: excellent food - the Sacher cake!!!, friendly staff, very affordable

Cons: restrooms - typically Italian..., can get very busy

20+ vegan Meals in an Alps hut

After hours searching for an alps trail with vegan options on the way my gf found this beautiful place. The food is delicious, local an vegan. Just make sure they are bringing you the vegan option in busy times since it is mostly the vegan variation of a non vegan dish on the menu.

Pros: 20+ options, local recepies, Great value for money

great surprise!

Today we went for a hike in the Dolomites and as I was told the Vajolet Refuge had good food, that's where we went for lunch.
What a great surprise to open the menu and discover a whole page with vegan options!

The staff was more than happy to offer soy milk for the coffee, too, and I was told they only just started with the vegan options and think of offering even more.

They also had a dog service point, offering water and meat, so my non-vegetarian dog loved the place as much as I did.

The food was great, staff friendly and there is nothing to beat the landscape :)

Pros: exellent food, super friendly staff, breathtaking location
