Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant with a Belle Epoque dining room, which is part of the Pilatus hotel and cable car complex on top of the Pilatus mountain. The menu changes seasonally, but always contains clearly labeled vegan options. Choices include salads, potato gnocchi with vegetable ragout, and breaded portobello mushroom with asparagus. Open Fri-Sun 11:30am-3:30pm. Closed Mon - Thu.

Beautiful space! Only a couple vegan options - Edit
Take the train up to Mt. Pilatus for spectacular views! The restaurant has beautiful decor. There's only one vegan soup - pureed sweet potatoes & lentils - creamy & delicious.
Read moreThe only vegan entree was sweet potatoes with vegan cheese (tasted like cashew cheese), pomegranate seeds, & chopped avocado. It all tasted good, but there was *way too much* avocado relative to the other ingredients. Maybe 2 whole avocados worth. I got it to go and ate it with corn chips later that day.
The only way down from the mountain is the cable car. It's high & steep, but goes slow, is steady, and was *not* scary. (There were tourists aged 70s & 80s and it was tame enough for them!) If you're in Switzerland, it's a must-see!
