Top marks for effort!

Anybody travelling in this (pretty rural) area will know how difficult it is to find vegan options. It’s a far cry from the city! Although there wasn’t even a vegetarian option on the menu (never mind vegan!), we were staying in this hotel and there were no other options nearby. We informed reception, thinking they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us, but they couldn’t have been better. They carefully made sure of what we could and couldn’t eat (veganism is certainly not mainstream here!), and made us a really delicious off-menu meal. The food was tasty and filling, and the wine was fantastic and very reasonably priced. It is so hard to eat around here, and this place deserves recognition for being amenable. Top marks for customer service, and actually a tasty meal!
