Serves meat, vegan options available. One of the few veg-friendly eateries in this town, downstairs in the Kinney building. Can make wraps vegan, tofu scramble, pasta with garlic tahini sauce. Reported closed July 2015.
It was such a relief to get a lunch in Leavenworth that was already vegan without having to say "no cheese", etc. We had sweet potato soup that was homemade and really delicious. Then a wrap that had black beans, potato, salad sprouts, crisp fresh veggies and a delicious green dressing. We felt so great after this healthy lunch. Thanks Renaissance!
Finally found this after looking online through a dozen menus of restaurants in Leavenworth. It offers several vegan choices or can customize to be vegan. Three of us tried the tofu scramble in a wrap, starving artist (potatoes with choice of toppings), and caesar salad (swapped out chicken for tofu, minus cheese) with god food (garlic tahini pasta). Afterwards, we asked the server if they had any vegan desserts, and she offered an apple strudel. Everything was delicious and fresh. She said they try to use organic ingredients also. Will definitely go back if visiting this town in the future!
