Went there 2 times in 3 days

It was great! Would recommend it to everyone who wants to try some vegan Reimen and omnen. The first day we tried the warm noodles (omnen) and both the miso and spicy one tasted great. Miso was fresher and not as heavy as the spicy one. Spice level was okay - I could tolerate it and I’m not usually into spicy food.

We went two days later again and tried the cold reimen (there are coupons you can use to either get extra noodles, extra bamboo shoots, or kimchi (vegan as well)). We got the coupons in the first visit and used them for the second, it worked without a problem. Kimchi was great as well.
I wouldn’t have expected it but the tomato and basil Reimen were great - would definitely recommend them. Hot and sour reminded me of the spicy omnen. The thick soy broth Reimen were very similar to the hot and sour Reimen just with less taste.

We also tried some of the fried soy meat. The sweet and sour one was really great, chilli was a little tasteless.

Morioka Reimen

Loved it!
We tried the Morioka mushroom reimen and the spicy onmen. Both were really good. The noodles were nice and chewy and the mushrooms in the reimen and the bamboo shoots in the onmen were so good. The karaage was also nice but not as good as the soups in my opinion.

They now also offer vegan jajaonmen, but we saw it to late and were already have way into our meal.

They only offer standing tables.

Delicious Reimen and Easy-to-use system!

I went to this shop's old location in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, several years ago when I lived in that area. When I heard that they relocated to Morioka Station, I was super excited, because I live in Aomori now and I sometimes visit Morioka! I went to their new location (June 5, 2024) with my husband and his parents (who are not vegan). Their menu includes both vegan and non-vegan menu options, so it was good for our mixed group. The vegan options were plenty (outnumbering the non-vegan options!) and were very easy to choose on the ticket machine! Everything was delicious and we were all satisfied. We will definitely go again next time we're in Morioka!

Just a note, the shop is not very big and it is a "standing bar" style shop. However, there was one table for 4 that had stools we could use. It wasn't crowded when we went, but if it was, it might feel a little cramped. It wasn't a problem for us, but you might want to keep it in mind depending on your group!

Pros: Easy-to-use ticket machine, Delicious food with many vegan options, Staff were very kind
